08/29/02 You're Loosing my Business Seriously, how hard is it to keep things stocked that people want to buy. Here is the situation, or at least a list of purchases to make: Floss, Day Planner, Soap Dish, Shower Rack, Soda, Sheet Straps, Castles, Transformers. After going to both Wal-Mart (twice) and K-mart, most of this list remains incomplete. Wal-mart has plenty of Soda and plenty of Floss, but unless I'm just blind they don't carry any of th eother items. Time to take some of that back. They did have the "extras" so we'll give them those. Unfortunately Castles 2 (the PC game) wasn't any sort of remake fromt he version I have and they didn't have any of the newer Transformers in stock. But, I KNOW they should have the sheet straps as my grandpa recently got some for himself at a Wal-Mart about a month ago. Not to mention a Soap Dish and a Shower Rack seem like pretty common household items. After searching the shampoo/soap/tampon/drugs section several times. Then seaching the "Bedroom & Bathroom" area a couple of times, then back to the shampoo etc area then to the laundry detergent/cleaning supplies area, there is still no Dish or Rack to be found. K-Mart did have a Day Planner I liked but it was for 2003. Not too useful at this point in time. That one isn't too much of a preblem, I can get one at the school bookstore. Also K-mart DID have a Soap Dish. The problem is they had A dish and it was exactly like the shitty one I threw out last year and am currently trying to replace. What's so hard about a square soap dish with a lid that completely covers the sides. Everyone has these egg shapped "Keen Klear Kolored" plastic things that leak like hell and turn the soap into a huge glob of mush. The moral here is Wal-Mart may be fucking lame, but they are still a hell of a lot cheaper than those horrible specialty stores that put queerfuck butterflies and hearts molded onto all thier products. Also K-Mart is usually pretty bad in general, not only are the section unorganized like Wal-mart but the merchandaise int he section is usually all over the place and half opened. So support slave labor and support Wal-Mart.
