One of the cashiers refuses to wait for Herbert to leave, and departs in a huff. This leads to her unceremonious dismissal the next day. Due to her large credit card debt, and the poor economy, she is forced to take the first job she can find, picking out the more offensive parts from pre-packaged chicken dinners. She will only tell her friends and family that she is working with animals.
The other cashier is forced to close up by herself, and misses her bus as a result. She waits over an hour for another one.	By the time another bus arrives, she is so grateful to get out of the cold that she fails to notice it is the 36 instead of her usual route, the 16. She will shortly find herself in a dangerous and unfamiliar part of town.
