Raven is the most deceptive of the group--a bit of a whiner, Raven uses her strength and perseverance without the group noticing. Labeled as a flake, the group will come to owe her their lives on several occasions.

Marrin is one of two vampires in the Fellowship. In the universe of her origin Marrin is three hundred years old. This world challenges all she has learned in those years, a week after arriving, the Morrigans set a trap that nearly kills her.

Marrin is the veteran of the group. Having survived several encounters with Buffy: The Vampire Slayer in the California city of Sunnydale--Marrin's mean tactics and violent solutions push the group to fight when they would rather run. She also brings with her a knowledge from the different cultures of the world, in her three hundred and forty years Marrin has learned everything from archery to spear fishing.

A close friend of Duo, Punkr does not skate. Once introduced to this new world--where he must fight for the peace of all universes--Punkr becomes quiet and reclusive.

The thinker of the group, Punkr's ability to remember volumes of information will come in handy to the Fellowship. His courageous jump from a tree top and slaughtering of a Morrigan saved the group from capture during their first week in the new world.

A friend of Raven's, Fields is also a supermodel but is passed her prime. Because of this, Fields welcomes this new challenge and encourages the group to find their true reason for being sent to this world.

Fields has yet to show the group who she is, or what she wants. Her mysterious character is overshadowed by the fact the group of eight are strangers. In time, they will have questions for Fields...questions she will have to answer.

Azoric is the founding member of The Purples and is at discontent with how his life is shaping out to be. At twenty-four years old, he wants a more structured, stable lifestyle than that of a guitar player in a band that hasn't played one gig.

Azoric is elected leader of the Fellowship--the group puts their faith in him immediately, following his instructions with little question. Azoric embraces this roll--it shapes his life and helps him to find meaning. Although skinny and weak when first arriving in the new world...Azoric finds that her is becoming fanatical about weapons and exercise. In just a week in this strange world he has become an ace archer, capable of hitting bulls eyes from hundreds of yards away.

foodmart is about be slain by the Vampire Slayer, Buffy Sommers, when he is mystically teleported to the new world. Being an average vampire--of average strength and average desires, he can not fight the Slayer and is accustomed to running from danger. He is slow to admit it though, constantly complaining about how Marrin treats him like a baby.

foodmarts purpose in the story is as much a mystery to the reader as it is the characters living it. He has only been alive two hundred years and does not bring to the table the same skills as Marrin. He is also a klutz and sometimes causes more trouble than he is worth.
