Hello I noticed an absence of an outdoor strategy So here it is the newbies guide to outdoor paintball most of this is basics you will learn in time .This and tactics colin taught you will make you a better
player.

                                    BASICS
The first step in outdoor or woods paintball is to make sure your clothing is dark colored(brown, black and even dark shades of green)or if you have it jungle(tiger stripe) or Forest Camo (Woodland,Foxspot, and dots). I prefer not to wear area specific Camoflauge because if your wearing real tree and you try to hide in anywhere but in front of a tree
THEY  WILL FIND YOU. But never ever in a classic woods game do you wear a rainbow colored shirt and sparkly jeans cuz guess what YOU WILL GET OUT. Now that we have that clear lets move on to another subject. In speedball you rarely have to watch your back but in woods you will have people at all angles around you so always look and in woods its not "spray and pray" its "one shot one splat"

                                    MOVEMENT

I can't stress enough how you should move when In a woods game just like you should if a large dog starts threatening you .No jerky movements, only smooth slow movements. if you have a pump with auto-trigger do it slow and smooth until you master it go a little faster and so on and so forth(practice). But if some one with a high end gun starts shooting at you and they know where you are don't walk run as fast as you can(don't shoot)

                                   COVER
Finally the do or die part  of the woods game is cover this transferrable to speedball . Cover by definition is this "Anything and every thing to protect from a hit.(objects)"

                               Soft cover

This is unique to woods game there is basically no soft cover in Speedball it includes but is not limited to tall grass a thicket anything that has many parts that are used to decrease the chance of getting hit by a paintball

                                Hard Cover
Hard cover is and not limited to big rocks, cars and other really hard objects. if no one bunkers you or if you don't stick your head  out you can't get hit by the guy directly to the front of you.
