Saturday 10th
· Arriving to Salisbury and signing in the hostel

Salisbury historical trail with a picnic lunch/pub lunch
(depending on weather)
walk around the city & sightseeing – a great mixture of local attractions
to everyone’s taste including one of the finest medieval cathedral in Britain -
Salisbury cathedral
· “Design your evening program”
- maybe Choral Evensong in the cathedral
- or a get together in a traditional local pub
- you won’t probably resist the thriving Charter Market with 800 years of tradition
- or would you prefer just relax in a close by gardens?
- and for all romantic souls - hire a rowing boat and drift along the River Avon

· Walk (14 km, moderate) from Salisbury to Stonehenge

Accommodation
Salisbury Youth Hostel is a 200-year-old building in secluded grounds. It’s just a short walk into the heart of the historic city of Salisbury.

Transport
On Saturday we will take the train from London Waterloo at 8:20am to Salisbury (arrival time 9:42).
On Sunday the 18:26 train from Salisbury should be at London Waterloo at 20:04.
We cannot be responsible for failure of public transport or traffic delays, which may prevent you from taking the tour. Please allow plenty of time to return in time to connect with other form of transport. We also do not accept responsibility for any delays; failures caused by circumstances beyond our control.
What to take with you

Outdoor clothing, firm walking shoes, food, slippers, towel, pocket money (Stonehenge entrance ticket £6.30). You will not need a sleeping bag.

Price: £60.00 including return train ticket, accommodation, breakfast, bus ticket from Stonehenge, admin fee

Registration in 3 easy steps:
§ Send the booking email to [email protected] (please write “Weekend in Salisbury, 10.-11.11.07” into the subject field)
§ Await confirmation of your booking from us / we will send you payment and meeting instructions as well.
§ Complete the payment as per the instructions. Once we receive the payment your registration is complete.
As the number of places is limited to 4, they will be allocated on first registered first served basis.
