Old Bexley to Petts Wood

Created over the past decade, the London is a 224-kilometre walking trail that makes a complete circuit around the edge of the capital, sticking for the most part to green areas, to form a kind of walkers´M25.
Starting in Old Bexley, this part of the loop passes through the grounds of Foots Cray Place and historic Scadbury, from whose wooded hillside estate there are expansive views south across the valley into the Kent countryside.
Beyond Scadbury, the walk passes through Petts Wood, a National Trust-protected area of ancient woodland.

- We will take the train at 9.18am from London to Bexley. Journey takes approximately 40 minutes. - Return to London: We will take the train from Petts Wood and will be in London after 6pm.
