New Century Lions Clubs are flexible because you choose which community service activity to pursue and you choose club meeting times convenient to your lifestyle. It's your club. Your way.  New Century Lions Clubs are backed by the knowledge and strength of more than 44,500 community-based Lions clubs worldwide, but designed for today's community-minded young adults. Lions clubs provide the structure, training and support to build and effective team of volunteers who can provide community service where it is needed most. As a member, you are entitled to all the rights, privileges and responsibilities common to all Lions club members with the freedom and flexibility to tailor the club to fit your schedule and interests.

New Century Lions Clubs :

• Members are age 35 and under at time of joining. Adults through age 35 may be invited to join a New Century Lions Club for the club’s first seven years. There is no requirement for members to leave the club when they exceed the age of 35.

• No rigid meeting schedule.

• Flexibility to choose service activities.

• Fewer administrative requirements.

• Use of Internet for club administration.

• Connect with Lions clubs across the globe.

Facts about New Century Lions Club of Kuching Emerald :

• Chartered on 22nd May 2001.

• Active members totalling to 21.

• Carrying out various Lions major projects and other community services oftenly.

• Meeting on the first Monday of every month at Lions Nursing Home, Kuching at 7.30p.m. Meetings shall change depending on majority of members' availability.

• Joining of members is by invitation only.
