   Description:  Continue to install health and safety devices for the Friends Of Arundel Seniors (F.O.A.S.) program with Anne Arundel County Department of Aging **calculation: 2 people x 3 projects x 1 hour ea. = 6 total hours**.  We also held our monthly BINGO at Knollwood Nursing home **calculation: 3 people x 1 project x 1 hour = 3 total hours**.  One member, Kevin Bernhard, volunteered with the American Red Cross to help Katrina victims for three weeks **calculation: 1 person x 21 days x 8 hours = 168 total hours**

   Description:  Continue to work with our sponsored Boy Scout Troop 721.  Seven (7) Kiwanis members are involved either through leadership and/or guidance.  The scouts went to back-to-school night and recruited 3 new members.  Five scouts earned their meritt badges for citizenship in the community.    Description:  The Meade High School Key Club is doing great!  The Old Mill High School Key Club is gaining momentum and Jeff Althoff will be the new Odenton Kiwanis liason.  Al Bunickas will continue to be the Meade HS liason for Kiwanis.  Meade has about 20 members and meets twice a month **calculation: 2 Kiwanians x 2 meetings x 1 hour ea. = 4 total hours**.

Administrative and Fund Raising Activities

Report:  Kiwanis International changed the rules dues payments based on club anniversary date, Odenton must pay their dues by the end of December.  This makes it tough on a small club to come up with that much cash all at once, but the members have been good about paying their 05-06 dues (or at least half).  As for fundraising, the club has two chocolate candy bar fundraisers coming up, one at the Odenton Heritage Society tea on November 5th and the other on Nov. 12th at the Odenton VFD.  The club purchased four boxes of candy bars to start hoping to make a profit of about $104.
