Béra'argith

"The Sons of War"
(Note: that none of this is official and this is ment for fun)

The Béra'argith is a mercanary army in the warhammer 40k universe. The word Béra'argith is Vargitheian for sons of war. The Vargith are a warlike people that have found good work as mercenaries are even so succuesful as to bring others races to thier army the Vargith outfitting each new race to have some job in the army.

(Note: Béra'argith forces can be added to armies has chices noted in the unit descrition but you can not take them with Tyranids, armies with greater demons, Necrons, and forces with any Wicth Hunters and Demonhunters presant)

Vargith

The Vargith themselves are massive reptlian humaniods with a planet in the far reaches of the galaxy that have cliamed no allagince to any of the warring forces. A adult Vargith stands roughly 10 feet tall with powerful musculed bodies. Not much is known about Vargith life or thier homeworld as they keep those closly guarded secrets. Vargiths enjoy combat and most of them think of it as a way of clearing the mind and becomeing pure in soul and all Vargith frown on the use of guns when they fight. The Vargith live on a planet called Geratenia which they jelously guard from all oursiders not one non-Vargith has ever set foot on that planet in fact the Imperial navy tried breaking an entrie many times but have always been crushed and sent home like a scolded boy. All knowaldge of Vargith socitiy are glened from talk of the Vargith themselves and from what they say combat is a everyday and popular part of thier lives. It is also known that the Vargith leader known as The Lord of Blades is their absoulte ruler and rules for life or until the people see him as corrupt but thier current lord has ruled for the past eight thosand years and is still alive and healthy. It is also known that the Vargith love to celabrate and have many holidays one such that they even celabrate away from home is their lords birthday which is a entire day of partying with shows of combat prowness and musicals of Vargith legends. Despite the Vargith's love of combat they very very much dislike war, all their combat is for sport never to hurt thier combatant(execpt on the battlefield of course). In fact the Vargith were a war happy race until The Declaration of Brotherhood was made around the time the Eldar Empire was at its prime. The Vargith are mercinaries becuase it allows them to increase thier combat skills and get paid but they have never consider acually perticapating in the war or starting an empire in fact once a Tau ambassador asked The Lord of Blades to help them in the war and he replied "Young tau before I even consider jioning in your self extermination tell me... how loud are the drums of war?"

Kroot

its not uncommen to find Kroot mercinaries outside of the Tau Empire so its only natural that some of them jion the Sons of War. The kroot of the Sons of War slightly more "civilized" then thier brothern, this is becuase they have been equiped with mesh armor and guns. These kroot are usually considered exile becuase not one shper has been seen with this kroot. The kroot of the Sons of War are strong nevertheless and have proved their wroth many times. These kroot are still very much like kroot still eating the corpses of thier victims and fighting brutilly in close combat althought thier armor his ruduced thier jungle figthing ablities becuase they've not learned how to fully cop with thier new armor. The kroot of the Sons of War has been growing in number and due to thier seperation from Pech have started to change in a way that soon they will be thier own sub-race of the kroot.

Harlequins

as mystrious as the Harlequins are they have taken another step and baffled most by Harlequin apperance in the Sons of War. These groups are always small but have began to grow and know Harlequins have even been seen commanding battles. The goals of the Harlequin's remain a even biger mystery then they are but what ever it is will it be for the Eldar, the Dark Eldar, or for themselves.

Legion of the Damned

this chapter of the space marines have never been understoud, almost appearing at random. But somehow the Vargith know more about them then the Imperium becuase ghostly space marines have been seen in Sons of War ranks. In most cases the marines will matrialize in the middle of the battle in some advatagous postion reaping havoc and leaving agian. Whatever the reson this apperances aran't commen and require a high price but they are wroth ever penny.

Ork Terminators

orks love to fight and kill by nature and the Vargith have offered the orks a chance to become stronger some follow this and forsake the orky culture to jion the Sons of War and are outfitted in great armor, this has cuased thier enemies to dub them Ork Terminators. Ork Terminators are uncommen in the armies of the Sons of War but they are a force to be reckoned with. These orks are specially tough in combat haveing the heavy armor that is simalar to terminator armor combined with ork strengh and toughness. Just becuase these orks have been put in high tech armor dosn't mean thier tough their still just as stupid so don't know how to use thier armor to its fullist and many are so inept that they fight with thier bare hands or use familar ork weapons like choppas and shootas, its very rare to see one using the weapons the Vargith origanly gave them. Ork Terminators are disliked by other orks becuase they "had to use stupid humie weapons to kill da enimii."

O'Shovah's Tau Renagades

another strange addition to the Sons of War nobody knows just how the Vargith gianed Farsight's service. Althought Commander Farsight has only been in one battle for the Sons of War many of his warriors are mercinaries in the Sons of War. This renagades still have a deep hatrad of orks but have managed to work with the Ork Terminators but they still won't tolerate the average ork and would just as soon shoot them as the enemey in front of them. Due to O'Shovah's teachings and lack of ammo this mercanries are all trianed in close combat and bear close combat weapons. With the money the renagades will soon have a choice, to return to the tau or not.

Vostroyan Mutants

not every soldier made it off of Mudusa V, some where trapped when the strom hit and managed to survie in it long enough to make it off of the doomed planet. These are the Vostroyan Mutants. The poor soldier fled to a imperial planet only to discover that being in the storm mutated them and they where now hunted and sentanced to death. The soldiers flew from planet to planet seeking shelter until they came to a mercinary outpost and promised shelter for service. And from that day on they haved served the Sons of War faithfully where their sinster powers where put to good use. The mutations of these soldiers is not apparent at first glance, but it would take an ork to not notice thier picth black eyes and somthing even dumber to not notice thier stero vioces. The mutated soldiers don't have any outward mutation but have physic powers that are almost beyond belif.

Hive Fleet Colossus

the near destroyed fleet has left the now safe planet they used as refuge and a splinter of that small fleet has found the offer of the Vargith, shelter for service. The Vargith really live by this and didn't refuse the meager call from the splinter fleet. Under Vargith protection this splinter fleet has grown and thrived and now serve the Sons of War. This gave the Imperuim yet another reson to hate the Vargith.
