Forces of Chinerot
Clan Yenak is a Skaven Clan that has risen due to the great power of its warlord Chinerot. Clan Yenak was then all but destroyed by the Obsidian Curse, inculding their beloved warlord Chinerot. But somehow Chinerot is back and he seeks revenge for those who ruined his grand clan. Clan Yenak might be a shadow of itself but Chinerot is focused on a goal, killing Zordos and bringing his clan back to its hieght of power.
Rise of Clan Yenak
Clan Yenak was one of the weaker clans in skaven socity until Chinerot siezed control of the clan. Chinerot quickly brought the clan up in power capturing thosands of slaves from the other weaker clans and using his vast amount of dedts to bring in a mercanary force so large that he quickly grew to be one of the major clans collcting tithes from the minor clans to ensure thier survial.During Clan Yenak's seat of power in the Under-Empire Chinerot was constantly buying new inventions to help pervent rivials from killing him and he hired Arcanifire the Warpsmith to constantly make new inventions and hired Shaden the Claw to prevent assianation attemps and assianat his potantial rivials. Arcanifire one day came up with a device that could quickly dig tunnels (at the cost of the crew politing it, but thats what slaves are for!) and Chinerot thought it was fantastic. He soon had Arcanifire and a army of slaves digging him a caveran city under the Norslands, by doing so Chinerot was making assianation atempts almost on his life almost impossible.
Clan Yenak quickly moved into thier new city named Gertan, although Clan Yenak's infulance lingered in the Under-Empire and tith was still collacted from the lesser clans. Next Chinerot hired many from clan Moulder, Skrye, and Eshin and through pay, threats, or promises Clan Yenak soon had its own tratior army of. Chinerot's army at this time consited of almost pure storm vermin, many jezzels, thaosands of ratling guns, a score of warpfire cannons, a large group of assiasins, gutter runners golor!, and many, many rat ogres. Now Clan Yenak was at the hieght of its power. But unfortantly it would not last.
Fall of Clan Yenak Clan Yenak was now one of the most powerful clans, it lived off the tith of the minor clans and the spoils of thosands of raids and loot from other radiers and it seemed as if Chinerot would soon have a seat in the council of the 13. But the Obsidian Curse which was a constant victim of Clan Yenak's raiding had just defeted the goblins and now marched unkown towards Gertan unkown to Clan Yenak. Warlord Jev of Clan Vev was being heavily tithed by Clan Yenak and his scouts got news of the immenat attack weather any other clan new about this or not is not known but Jev warned nobody else and sent a load of beer tinkered by clan Pestalance to Clan Yenak and was instructed to give it to the guards of the west above ground entrance where suposadly Zordos was heading towards. The posined drinks passed Clan Yenak's inspections becuase the posin was so minor and was dilvier as instructed and the happy rats drank it with abaondan and within minutes all where very drunk or sleeping. Then Zordos stromed the west entrance.
Chinerot had set up a formidable defense force but it depending on the outer guards being able to hold out while a massive counterstrike would move in but seeing as the guards where incapatatatied he had no problem overwheming Gertan's impressive defenses. For a while after that it was skaven sluaghter in the streets as the Obsidian Curse ran about unchecked until the alarm was finally sounded the streets of the west border of Gertan where littered with skaven bodies. Immediatly after the alarm was sounded Chinerot moblizied his army and set about to push the attackers out, but the warriors of chaos already had a hold on the city. The ensuing battles where fought all over the Skaven city as the Obsidian Curse slowly gianed ground agianst the cowardly skaven. The biggest problem that Clan Yenak faced was that the Obsidian Curse was gianing new and eager warriors everyday hungry for plunder and kills while rumor had it that the some of the more cowardly clanrats where fleeing from the city.
As the Obsidian Curse made its way near the center of the city Chinerot made a decsion, to come out with his elite guard and attack the force until thier commander could be locatted and killed. So Chinerot marched boldly out of his fortress with nothing to fear but was taken by surprise when Zordos came out and challanged him in single combat.
The Skaven Warlord eagerly agreed as this fit perfectly into his plan, woth Zordos dead the chaos attack would surly fall on itself with them all killing each other. Unfortantly for Clan Yenak Chinerot was defeated in combat by Zordos and killed and what little resolve the skaven still had before was gone as they all fled before the Obsidian Curse. Finally ending the almost month long attack on Gertan.
After this Clan Yenak fate was sealed as Gertan was now under choas control and in a matter of days ever clan member in the Under-Empire was ethier enslaved, killed or just ran off in the usual skaven fashion.
Reserection of Clan Yenak
Now almost a year since the fall of Gertan whispers in the Under-Empire tell of Chinerot's return. Somehow the rat is back and he's gathering power agian. In the Under-Empire Clan Yenak has risen out of the dust and its assuming power agian.At first thoasands of attempts from almost every clan have been made to stop Chinerot's next rise to power but all failed. Not even these attempts or thier threats could stop those still loyal to Chinerot from returning to him. Due to all this most of the clans now think that the Horned Rat has a special purpose for him or think he is now the Horned Rat incarnate! The Gray Seer refuse to speak a word on this matter and most have just accepted Chinerot's return and contuine as if it had never happended. Chinerot has openlly declared that he'd seek revenge against those who had killed him as his work and the cunning rat is ture to his word he will not rest until the deed is done.Characters
Chinerot is the warlord who brough Clan Yenak into power and plans to do it agian. Chinerot is a fearsome fighter with a vicious reputation. Chinerot is very cunning and very patiant foiling countless plans of his rivials and assination attempt. Chinerot's goals as always seemed to be the betterment of his clan weather he's doing it for himself in the end or just tricking his clanmates is unsure but Clan Yenak has flourished under his rule.
Chinerot started out as a mercnary, and a very succusful mercanary he was. After living a life for hire Chinerot returned to his clan very wealthy and succusful. Chinerot soon fought his way to the top of Clan Yenak. Chinerot quickly set out to move his clan up by calling many favors with previous clients and mercenary buddies using this massive force he took out many of the minor clans and other clans close to the bottem. The plunder and slaves gianed from this gave Clan Yenak more power then it ever had and the Under-Empire had seen the most rapid clan ascension in its history. Next Chinerot started secertly collecting tithe from the remianing minor clans for thier "protection" this ended up benifiting Clan Yenak more then simpley destorying them as Chinerot had all the minor clans under his clawed heel.
Chinerot's next move infuriated most of the clans, when they found out. Chinerot had been secertly gathering many members from Clan Moulder, Clan Eshin, and Clan Skyre and bribe them using his vast amount of wealth to stay as members of his clan. Next Chinerot set about using Arcanifire's creation to cut out his own city under the Norselands calling his new city Gertan. Chinerot made the city grand, supposedly it was the most beutiful city on earth, by skaven standards that is. Many clans wanted to take the city from Chinerot but by moveing almost his entire force their he made it impossible to move a army thier from Skavenblight unoticed and almost impedarble to assassins and any who did get in unnoticed usally got cuaght by Chinerot's counter assassins. But by isolating himself Chinerot made himself very exposed to enemies of other races.
Chinerot's doom came just three days before he would have to be granted a seat on the council of 13 in the form of a angery chaos warband called the Obsidian Curse. They came in unoticed by Gertan's outer defense and raged through the city Chinerot tried to reorginzed his paniced people but in the end it was to no avial as the warband slowly advanced through thier blostered numbers and strong members. They eventally made their way to the Citadel and Chinerot decided to go out and meet them with his guard planning on finding the leader and killing him. Chinerot found Zordos or rather Zordos found him and they dueled the battle lasting almost a day according to those wacthing it. Finally Chinerot was struck down by Zordos and Clan Yenak lost Gertan and quickly fell on the brink of extection.
Somehow Chinerot has returned alive and almost unchanged. The most notable changes in Chinerot is his picth black eyes and at times Chinerots vioce will sound deeper and as if many vioces where speeking not just one. With Chinerot's return many of his former members flocked back to him and Chinerot now holds a Clan Yenak agian and its no longer a shattered dying clan, but its not even a fragment of its former power. Chinerot is now determined to hunt Zordos down and bring his clan back up to the top and this unholy rat has proven he means it.
Shaden the Claw
Shaden is a very talented assassin, one of the best and never failed in his missions. Shaden was hired by the wealthy Chinerot to assassinate a rival and after his seccuss Chinerot offered him a permenate position in his clan and he would be lavishly rewarded. Shaden accepted and served him loyally soon becoming his loyal vassel. Shaden became the head of Chinerot's counter assassin force.
During the attack on Gertan Shaden killed many captians during thier attack. Shaden countined his shadowy assualts until he came face to face with Mazda-adhoi. Shaden attacked the lizardman but Mazda-adhoi somehow noticed him before the hidden blow could be made and the two fought. The battle between the two was wacthed by both sides and when Shaden scored a glancing hit on the side of the lizardman's head he thought victoy would be his, but somehow the poisons effect didn't seem to take hold. During the fight both scored hits on each other but the battle seemed won when Shaden disarmed Mazda-adhoi of his shield and weapon. The assassin aproched the lizardman ready to kill him but the lizardman attacked back just with his claws and teeth badly damageing the overconfident skaven then grabbing him by his tail and beat him reapetadly agianst the wall only being saved because the skaven renewed their attack and Mazda-adhoi had to abandon the broken body of assassin.
Shaden was not killed by his encouter but he was servelly wounded most of his teeth where smashed never growing back to their orginal size, his right eye would always be slightly more swolen then the other, and his lower jaw was horrible scarred when it was almost ripped off. But he left Mazda-adhoi with a horrid green scar to remember him by. Shaden disappered after Chinerot's death to recover from his injuries and to hide from his fellow assassins who saw him as a tratior. Shaden remained loyal to Chinerot's cuase and if anyone was ready for his return it was Shaden.
Arcanifire the Warpsmith
Arcanifire is a Warlock Engineer who is known for making the most bizzare invention, most of which are useless in battle. Arcanifire's inventions where even sometimes looked at as a waste of time by his inventive bretheran due to their tendency to be useless in combat. While Chinerot was viewing the newest invention from Clan Skyre when he came across Arcanifire's newest invention the "Warpfire Digger of Unstablablity" and instantly found a way to use it. Chinerot hired him to over see its use and when Chinerot ask him to jion Clan Yenak Arcanifire was only too glad to jion as long as Chinerot used his inventions, which he did.
Arcanifire was in Skavenblight when the attack on Gertan occured and he helped keep the Clan Yenak skaven in Skavenblight from falling apart when Gertan was taken, but despite his efforts he soon had to abandon Skavenblight and became a peddeler. Arcanifire was starving and a day or two away from death when news of Chinerot's return came to him and he cralwed back to Chinerot ready to provide his services once agian.
