Summer Arts Camp
Come "fly" with the artwork of FAITH
RINGGOLD, an internationally renowned African-American artist
known for her paintings, soft sculptures, masks, and story quilts.
Inspired by her imaginative art, we will pursue our own creative
adventures in dance, drama, poetry and visual art. Our two-week
session of fun-filled mornings and special afternoons (added during
the second week) will conclude with a Friday evening presentation
for family and friends.
Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00
noon (plus a special afternoon for each age group during the second
week).
Cost: $195
For Children (entering Grades 2-7) July 19-30
Participants should wear a body suit or leotard with
shorts or pants on top (depending on the weather). Shorts and
T-shirt are fine for boys.
Children should bring a snack each day for our mid-morning break
at nearby Talleyrand Park.

STARBOUND WORKSHOP
For students entering Grade 5 and above

Having fun is the main goal of this camp, while focusing on technique,
flexibility, strength, and endurance.
It is also a special opportunity for some of our students who
would like to know more about the demands of being a member of
one of the competition classes in the fall
(recommended for students who are already participating in the
competition classes).

SUMMER DANCE CAMP
PUDDING POPS I
For children age 4 years.
Classes will focus on the introductionof basic dance skills.

PUDDING POPS II
For children age 5 years.
Classes will focus on the developmentof basic dance skills, plus
provide an introduction to tumbling.

ICE CREAM CONES
For children entering Grades 1-3.
Classes will introduce studentsto the variety of dance styles
(plus acrobatics) available at the studio.

BANANA SPLITS
For children entering Grades 4-6.
A summer sampling of dance styles plus acrobatics. A fun week
of variety and activity.

INTENSIVE DANCE WORKSHOP
Jr./Sr. Levels June 21 - 24
Open to students entering Grades 4-6 (Junior) and Grade 7 through
Adults (Senior) having at least two years prior dance experience,
and who are interested in studying additional styles.
NOTE: Students should wear either ballet shoes, jazz shoes,
or bare feet, plus regular dance clothing
(no shorts or baggy T-shirts). Bring bag lunch (a towel and water
container are also recommended).
M thru Th. 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Cost: $185
Overnight trip
to NYC
Sr. students, will take classes at
the Broadway Dance Center (located above the Hard Rock
Cafe).
Cost includes hotel, travel (car, bus, subway) and dance classes.
Bring extra for meals.
Register immediately to insure hotel reservations!
June 25 & 26 Fri & Sat. Additional Cost: $150
