Mateo pleads with Hayley to wake up, scared that Proteus has done something to her. Hayley wakes up and is angry that he woke her.

Hayley tells Mateo that she hasn't been able to sleep much lately and that she'd finally gotten a chance to. Hayley is frightened by Mateo's actions.

Simone calls and tells Mateo that she was worried about him. Hayley finds it weird that Simone would call this late and wonders if Mateo is having an affair.

After Mateo hangs up, Hayley demands to know what is really going on. Mateo covers and tells her that he is scared about a lot of things, mainly that SOS wasn't bringing in enough money. He says he wants to spend more time with his family, so they decide to take a trip to the Cayman Islands.
