Frankie comes into SOS and asks Mateo for "weed". Mateo asks Frankie who sent her and doesn't believe her when she tells him she came on her own. Simone steps in and takes the 2 of them outside, fearing that someone may overhear their conversation.

After Frankie leaves, Mateo tells Simone that he is positive Proteus sent Frankie, but Simone disagrees. Mateo then says that he's not putting up with this any longer and that he's going to call the police. Simone explains to him that that's not a good idea, and Mateo finally decides against it.

Mateo and Simone go back into the club and find Hayley waiting for them. She tells him she's there to do the club's books and Mateo says that he forgot she was coming.

Mateo makes up excuses for Hayley to leave, and Hayley gets upset, accusing him of hiding things from her and tells him that if he's keeping things from her, then they don't belong together. Mateo asks Hayley to trust him and promises to tell her everything at home.
