Joey and Dawson's KISSYes, I am crazy and I did take a bunch more caps so go through it with me for fun!
Finally deciding to tell Dawson how much she loves him, she walks in on he and Jen in bed (it was totally innocent though) and Dawson runs around town trying to find Joey when as always when she's hiding she's in his closet. He frantically tells her there's nothing going on between he and Jen.
Joey tells him he doesn't have to explain, they're just friends. He disagrees.
She asks him what they are then. If they're not just friends then what are they? She tells him she can't wait her whole life to decide if someday he might give a glance in her direction.
He's scared to lose her and they'll she'll go to school in France.
He asks her not to leave.
He tells her he wants to be honest and figure all of this out, with her.
She really wants to believe he will do all these things he's promising but is having a hard time believing it.
She tells him honesty's a big word and can he go along with everything that comes along with being honest.
She awaits his answer and he says nothing.
Joey's heart is broken when he doesn't respond. She can't play this game forever.
She turns to leave...it's Dawson's last shot.
"Joey!" he says, running after her and grabbing her.
He yanks her to him.
And FINALLY kisses her.
I love Joey's expression as he kisses her, her stunned face, she's so cute.
One kiss wasn't enough.
Look at the pain in Joey's eyes, she can't believe he kissed her when she's loved him for so long. Her expression there is so passionate.
