Entry Ninety-Six -

I Feel Good (Dun Nuh Dun Nuh . . .)

Felt pretty good this morning, at least in comparison to yesterday. That was this morning though, before my effortless and long day of relaxation and studying for my math final.

Laziness is bad for your mind - English

That's sort of my thoughts on today - There are plenty of subliminal meanings as to why exactly I said that laziness is bad for one's mind and then keenly translated it into 6 different languages (not including English). If you guessed it was to keep my mind active and create an oxymoronic clause then you are partially correct. The other reason would be of course to see the comparisons between the most common Latin based languages and German - which is similar to English. The funny difference between Italian and Portugese is that the accents go in mirrored directions. It's kind of cute, isn't it?

I'm still partially sick, but I'm working on it very hard. I've done a lot of relaxing, a lot of Starcraft playing, a little techno listening, and 4 pages of mathematic studies, not to mention the 2 pages of chemistry notes and Spanish reviews. Today has been only semi-industrious.

My Dad bought a pair of $204.00 shoes. They're nice shoes, and they'll keep his feet wonderful, but I think it's ridiculous. He should have talked the price down. He's bad at price shopping. Oh well . . . I love him, despite the fact that $204.00 shoes will drive us immediately to poverty.

$204.00 is more than I would have spent on 5 pairs of shoes. I'll be buying some walking shoes and some running shoes soon, and hopefully it won't cost me or my parents much, because I hate being a burden on their income. They might love me, but I still feel guilty and spoiled when they buy me expensive things. Maybe that's because I love them too.

My mom was in the city all day today, wonder when she's getting home - she still hasn't returned.

My dad and I had another bachelors dinner. If I have another one I may suffer from malnutrition or something like that. I'm just spoiled with "mommy-food" (wide smile).

I'm going to go play music with my Dad till my Mom gets back.
