I have now come upon the conclusion that the line of fate is indeed unalterable, and even though we have a conscious choice to do things, the inevitable will always occur. Today was actually a pretty fine day: I certainly got a lot accomplished. First of all, my freedom of speech essay is entirely finished, and the only change I made was changing "populous" to "populace" (the noun) - something which my spell checker decided to totally ignore, which makes sense - it does not check context. In the morning, when I woke I was home alone, which was . . . interesting, however I already knew that she would be visiting her mom in the city. I ate breakfast, then decided to take off an clean the church extra nice this week - I got some "special orders" from my semi-boss (who is a single person - my true boss in the entire congregation). I cleaned the vents, which was a bit of a pain, but I managed to do it. Saw some of the most exotic spiders I've seen in my entire life, I don't know whether to say it was amazing or petrifying, I'll let you decide. A friend of the family, Sherri Guinn, possibly the most exceptional singer I've ever heard, is in our house right now singing with my Dad preparing for church songs. I had a good theological debate with my literalist (corresponding to the Bible) friend, whom I've never met in person, but we managed to have the conversation in writing. It was good fun, I'd say my points were more factual, however Christians usually stand their ground with me by saying, "that can't be so." When I ask, "Why is that?", I usually get some cheese wiz answer. The only people with whom I thoroughly enjoy discussing religion are my Uncle Tom, my Father Mike, and a few friends whom I consider to be brilliant. Anyway, I won another WGTour match today, but most importantly, I discovered that I won't be home tomorrow, which is my last day of vacation, but instead I will be in the city spending time with my Grandma. I can't say I'm thoroughly excited to be going under such circumstances, but I'm glad that I'll be able to see her, and that's what matters I think. I've been swing dancing around the house . . . can't wait till next week, providing I can go - I hope nothing takes a turn for the worse with either grandmother. I watched a really awesome program called, "Dragonheart: A New Beginning". It was a science fiction movie, and the reason I liked it was because it was the story of a boy and his friend dragon, who later became his blood brother. It was a cool little story . . . too bad fantasy like that doesn't exist in the world today . . . People ask me if I believe in dragons a lot, and the answer is usually yes. Of course they don't exist in the material world, at least not anymore, but I've done a lot of research on such matters, and I heard that bones resembling the first dragon were discovered by the Aiynu many centuries ago, and were later transferred to the Chinese and Japanese culture, which could explain to me the fascination of their culture with dragons. All this was great to watch and witness in the movie, but it almost made me want to write a dragon story of my own, in which I could tickle the fancy of thousands of other dragon lovers like myself. Yup, sounds like fun to me. I think I broke 30 dragons in my room the other day, I'll have to recount statues, t-shirts, posters, and stuffed animals. I'll finish Steppenwolf tomorrow on the way to the city - I'm not sure if there will be an entry done tomorrow night or not, it might have to be Monday night counting as two entries, we'll see how the fine line of fate guides us. Take care my friends.
