Truly the phrase "can't keep a good man down" applies very much to today. Man, today was such a good day! First of all, woke up this morning and had the empowering breakfast of Honey Nut Cheerios, a breakfast for champions, and then toddled off back toward my cave for some rest and relaxation. Soon after that, I got bored of rest, and went straight to my computer to see what my friends were doing and such, and did a little bit of work on the Livermore site, but not much because I've gone basically as far as I can go with the provided information. They will supposedly be sending me more very shortly, which means that I'll probably be hired. After discovering that everyone was away from their keyboards, but still signed online, I decided to call all the members of my band and confirm practice tomorrow at 10:30. I've got some cool ideas to make us a really kick-stuff band, so I'm hoping it goes well. I played piano for awhile, and did random Bob-things like finishing the proof to my freedom of speech essay, then went and played some Starcraft. Clan ~SC~ has been SO active lately, it's incredible how much of a come back we've made. In the past two days we've recruited four people, one of whom being a girl, which surprised me. She's only the third girl we've had in SC, she's 20, and is going to college in game design. She'll make some computer nerd very happy one day. (For some reason that made me laugh really hard as I typed it). I was thinking to myself after an hour of game play, "Bob, if you worked out as much as you play Starcraft, you'd be in such incredible shape it'd be amazing!" So, guess what I did all today? That's right! Worked out like a mad-man. It was a lot of fun though, and I spent a lot of time outside, which is unheard of for some teenagers during the break. I plan on doing a lot more activity like things though - for example tomorrow is the band practice, and I'll probably go see Lord of the Rings on Tuesday providing that I can get a ride. If I can't then I could always do what I did today, which was take a 12 mile bike ride - let me explain in the next paragraph. So, I finally got my bike back from the shop. It had 15 gears one time, long long ago, in a land . . .(trailing off). Anyway, we got the gears fixed because after a lot of riding only two of them remained functional, so now I have a good bike once again. I rode from my house to El Molino and back, and it's 6 miles each way, which totals to 12 miles. (Like that Algebra?) It certainly was fun doing all the work outs I did today and such, but now I'm exhausted. It's a clear night tonight too, so I think I'm going to go outside and do some star-gazing with my parents. Take care everyone. Enjoy life as much as me, and I'll give you some style points. That's right, style points. P.S. For all you techno fans out there, I seriously recommend downloading the remix of "Butterfly" from the DDR 2nd Mix - try Limewire or Kazaa or something, and if you can't find it then I can send it to you. It's a really good song to dance to, because it's got a solid bass and synth mix line. Take care my friends. Style points! |
