Entry Sixty-Seven -

Power Outage

Hey everyone, writing from tomorrow (Monday) back onto the entry for today (Sunday). Sadly, the power was out from about 9:00 P.M. to 9:00 A.M., which leads me to believe that PG&E actually pulled the plug on Graton power to rack up some currency in a malicious and greedy manner. Maybe I'm just being pessimistic.

Nothing that interesting happened today, mainly I just stayed around my room, and talked to the house guest (Paul). He left today though, so we won't be seeing him until after the Christmas holidays. His only problem is that he gets very worked up while talking.

I've decided that my body gifted me with an insanely overworking adrenalin gland. In any situation where I'm under pressure I get an immediate adrenalin rush. The interesting thing is, that the adrenalin gland works two ways: Fight, or Flight. Judging by how fast I run, I'd assume I was given more flight than fight, so therefore if something challenges me that's a lot more than I can handle, I'll probably try it for awhile then get out of there. Flight!

For those of you who know me, you know I fear public speaking, at least to an extent. I like speaking amidst my friends, but not among people I don't know, because I feel this ramp id level of judging about the air. The thing I like most about it though, is that I can feel myself persuading them, changing them, and making them believe as I believe through the power of my voice. That's what makes me keep doing it. I want to lead. (I'm a Taurus if you believe in this sort of thing). The reason I said all that was because I get an adrenalin rush every time I start speaking in a classroom practically, especially when I see people's heads turn.

By the way, that reminds me . . . Mr. Sumner was able to successfully guess that I have a Sagittarius (rising) because I told him that I never like to read the last few pages of a book. Told you he was a smart guy. Heh. This also reminds me to finish the astrology section.

Only thing is that today (Monday) which I'm writing back on yesterday (Sunday), I must work on the Portola site because they want a rough draft by next weekend. This puts the pressure on me to get cranking on the production of the site, and to sketch out several ideas to see if they like them. I want the cash! Bob! Want! Cash!

This entry was probably very confusing, but it's quite early in the morning and the schools are flooded and closed due to the lack of electricity this morning. Too bad I woke up like I usually do.

We're missing a few shingles on the laundry room. It's Mr. Fix stuff time if Mom will let me.

Take care my friends.
