Once again, today's title is a tribute to all those swing dancers, but the topic is entirely different. Today I'm going to talk about several things many people are afraid of talking about openly. The working class, what it is, and its true power. That and I'm going to talk about phobia. Which phobia? You'll have to read on to find out. The working class is something that has existed through all of time, in one form or another. In the middle, or dark ages of European civilization, there were serfs and peasants - in Japan, there were the dominant Shoguns, who ruled over the emperor, who ruled over the people (the working class). As one can easily see, throughout time man has used man to do his labor, and has treated that very same hard working class as nothing more than scum. Scum is no hyperbole, of course on occasion we're given a good regard, and a firm handshake, but the truth of the matter remains that most of us have been born into a position of either poverty or slim inheritance, in which case we must work to survive on our own. I'm sure all of you have wanted something in your life, but have not been able to afford it, and because of this, you had to either utilize the fact that you have parents, or do as I choose to do and go work for my currency. The direction I'm going with this is simple: I believe with do not live in what one might say is an "equal opportunity society". I have been born into a life where we live in the middle-class - certainly not rich, certainly not in dire poverty. Society is training me to work throughout the time I am given in life, and me rebelling would do nothing more than cause a temporary ruckus, only for the system to restore itself with the aid of the corrupt dictators in mankind once again. To me, George Bush is nothing more than a reincarnation of Hitler, setting himself up in a Republic to become a dictator, and change things to suit his needs. If the economy, and the interest does not restore itself, then I see it a fit time to stir that temporary ruckus mentioned earlier. It is possible that you may disagree with me, but I'm sure at least a minority of the intelligentsia is on my side. I feel as though I've been cast into a pit with nothing more than a garden shovel, and I'm being told to dig down and pile up the dirt so I can climb it and get out. I believe the working class is nothing more than a tool for dictators to manipulate to their advantage, and the millions of Americans that belong to it, such as myself, are nothing more than those very same unrespectable serfs from the middle ages. A Joseph Stalin Point of View: The time to act is now, if there are millions of us, and not many of them, then let's stir an uprising! This entry has been a stretch to my boundaries in the 1st amendment. Please remember that I am not trying to provoke revolution, but rather stir the thoughts in all of your minds. I not responsible for any information in the entry above. Today was a good day, and I'm proud to announce that I was selected by my school as one of the few students who exhibit extraordinary leadership potential and qualities. I was nominated for this, and will be interviewed for the opportunity of an experience at a country abroad. It was extremely exciting for me, and I'm honored to have received this nomination whether I win or I do not. Thank you to whomever nominated me. Take care my friends, I
have much more labor to do before the night ends. |
