Whoo hoo, new stuff! I'm using a new program to design now - but it's different because I never had any training in it. I'm using Dreamweaver MX for OSX, as compared to Adobe Pagemill 3.0. Just a bit of information - the company that produced Pagemill shut the project down, so no updates were to be made in the future. Dreamweaver is hard for me right now, because I'm still learning it. It seems as though the site looks really crappy for everyone who has an 800x600 resolution, so I might actually make a different version of the site specifically for those of you who are using 800x600 as a resolution. Right now, the site is set for 1024x768, which is the "designer and gamer" resolution, therefore making it optimum for me. When I develop this new version of the site it will probably only be for the indices and entry page, seeing as those are the most commonly used. Ugh, it's frustrating when there's so much to learn. I feel like I've been dropped into a cage with lions and I'm weaponless. That's what it's like being a designer and getting new designing equipment - life is hard, but you adapt to your situation and try to overcome it. I just hope I don't get torn up by the lions. I also got an AC Adapter so I can plug my portable CD player into the cigarette outlet of my car and run it with no batteries. Now all I need is speakers that are compatible with my player's outlet jack, and I'll be set. For both of those mentioned above, thank you Adam, you are a wonderful friend. If only people in the world could be as generous as you, such a thing as selfishness would be hard to come by. I saw Die Another Day today, the techno in that movie is so awesome. The introduction to the movie alone was amazing - if any of you have the time, download the the theme song, "Die Another Day" (by Madonna), because it's actually very impressive. Even a hardcore techno fan such as myself concurs that it's a piece of work. Speaking of pieces of work in the history of techno - my friend James engineered a bunch of really awesome stuff, and if any of you would like me to burn you a copy my latest "mix" CD which I burn monthly for my listening pleasure, then please let me know. My latest goal: Stop cracking my knuckles. I've decided that I'm going to start running after school daily now. After I get home I'll change into my sleeveless shirt and suave shorts and be out the door to run from here down the trail and back for a mile. Nothing like conditioning, right? I've also decided that I don't think I'm going to grow my hair out long. Bob + Long Hair = Does Not Comply. I remembered what happened last summer when I grew my hair out for three months - it drove me nuts. I couldn't figure out what I wanted to do with it. My mom enlightened me to the idea that I should continue to cut my hair short because my current haircut is easy to handle, and the fact that I'll be playing tennis and running. Let me elaborate: it would make life difficult if I had long bangs (both tennis and track are sports that having floppy long hair in the front would not work well with). It takes me little to no time to get ready in the morning, because my hair has a natural upwards wave, and that makes spiking it a matter of sticking my head under water and rubbing my hands through it. Anyway, I want to study some math because I understood most everything, but not everything, and I want to understand everything for the test on Tuesday. I won't have much time to write or study tomorrow night, because it's all about my Spanish project which is due Tuesday. Typically, as you all know, I'm not a procrastinator, however the fact remains that I'm not a talented artist, and my friend Matt who is a talented artist was sick. So after school Monday, my talented artist friend is going to sit down and improve upon my sketchy theme park model with his mighty drawing skills. Thank you Matt, you're helping both Nick and I's grade, because you are the all praised god of pencils. Take care my friends, I'm off to go learn stuff!
