Entry Forty-Five -

Searching For Band Members

I play the piano, and I don't play it that badly. Adam came over today and we did all sorts of fun stuff like go over to the church and play both pianos at the same time - one of us would play bass, the other rhythm. When we got done having tons of fun, we came back to my house and played Dance Dance Revolution. Then we got the idea to play Armored Core on the Dance Dance Revolution pad. Then our legs were tired and we decided it was time to use controllers . . .

After our exhibitions inside, we got the idea that it would be fun to go outside and try wrestling, because he's on the wrestling team, and I'm not. Fun, right? Well, I took him down three times using his own force in a sort of judo style technique, and he took me down three times by sheer force and body mass leverage. Considering he weighs quite a bit more than I do, it was an incredibly fun experience.

I've been feeling like running lately . . . I think I'm going to start cardiovascular conditioning by running from my house to somewhere along the Forestville trail. Could be very good for me, but I'm sure at least one of my parents will say I've lost my mind, because it's roughly a 6 mile run. I was thinking I'd run the first 3 miles and turn around and run home, because that's 6 miles and I believe that's plenty.

Anyway my friends, I'm exhausted from all the fun I had today, so I'll continue writing about stuff tomorrow night, because I'm going to try to do something nifty again tomorrow.

Gamer's P.S.:

Tonight I was playing starcraft incredibly well, and managed to impress a group of experts from "Clan Marlboro." I was immediately turned off by the clan's name, so I told them if they wanted to play with me, they'd have to come to my channel. One of the members with 2500 wins and 1400 or something losses (which means he's played a lot . . .) decided to keep playing with me for the night, and we had some fun until about 11:30. I invented a new technique: Burrow micro. This means nothing to anyone who hasn't played Starcraft, but for you other gamers out there, I salute you.
