My legs are pretty tired right now. Woke up this morning and my mom made me an oatmeal breakfast. I love warm breakfasts compared to cold cereal five days a week. It's not bad of course, but I prefer it when I don't make my own breakfast. I guess that's a bit of my slacker side, but I really appreciate it when my mom makes it for me, and she's better at making it, so it's an all around cool deal. I'm going to see Harry Potter tomorrow with my friend Adam, his mom, and my mom. It's not loser, it's hardcore. How many of you can spend time with your parents and your friends at the same time and not worry about it? I'd rather have a gorgeous problem-ridden babe with blue eyes that look like shards of shattered glass in different shades and long hair and a "body made of wax" (quote Shakespeare), but that's not going to happen for awhile. Hint hint. I played some really good tennis today. I won all three matches vs. Matt, I think he's still a bit rusty because he has been sick. He's still really good at drawing though, because when we took a break over by the track he doodled out some amazing stuff in around 2 minutes. I leisurely enjoyed swing dancing music, courtesy of the great Zven. I'm seriously considering taking linguistic studies when I get older. I don't know though . . . I want to make some sort of Eastern World equivalent to Esperanto. Perhaps there would be a way to write a succession to the languages in Korea (North and South), Vietnam, China, and Japan. I understand that everybody hates everybody, but I still hold the dream of speaking several languages in the back of my mind. I learned some good and handy phrases from my South Korean friend named Yang today. Sadly, Yang will be leaving for two and a half years next year, and he won't be able to contact me during that time. My friend Lee will be coming back sometime around then hopefully, providing he wasn't shot. That's one thing I hate about the Koreans - mandatory military service when you come of age. What a load of bull. I guess it makes you "manly" in their country, and disciplined. It reminds me of the era of the Shogunates in Japan. Even though the emperor was a supposed descendant of the sun god, the elite warlords still held the power over the emperor, yet the emperor was a tool of manipulation for the people. That part of the world has always been extremely disciplined, although that image is often distorted because of World War II, and the idea of Guerrilla Warfare in Vietnam. So sad. I've been playing Starcraft a bit more lately, mainly to entertain my peers and to talk to my Korean friends. At 11:45 A.M. 11/16/02 here, it was 3:45 A.M. 11/17/02 for them. That made me laugh, even though it could easily be inaccurate information. He said it in military time too, because he said 5:45, and I knew that was ridiculously off, so I based it on 12 and subtracted 2. I'll ask him tomorrow what time it is and see if I was correct. I'm going to read my entire Chemistry chapter tonight to further understand the material. My math homework was easy. It has been an energetic day, and tomorrow is going to be busier (even though I have everything planned I'm not going to talk about it so I have a topic for tomorrow). I'm going to go take a shower. Take care my friends.
