Entry Two -

Drop Bush, Not the Bomb

Another day, another dollar. Just got back from work, it's about 5:30 now. For those of you who don't know, I've been working at a church, to be specific, I clean the church. To be honest I'm non-religious, well, non-decided at least. In terms of income, the job pays $25 a week for a once-a-week cleaning job. As a teenager, that's more than enough to pay for gas, insurance, small car damages, outings to the movies, and treating a date to popcorn.

I've got another good two hours or so before I go out driving with my Dad, and dinner after that. We're late eaters here. Late sleepers too. Something about the night and darkness outside has always been appealing to me. Wonder what the Vikings thought about the night, or even our ancestors long ago . . ., "Olaf! *Grunt* Big hot ball leave now! *Belch* Olaf! Sky get dark! *Zzzzzz*". Wasn't life great back then? Actually, I'm exaggerating - supposedly the Vikings were a fairly intelligent culture, however, they doomed themselves by over farming the lands they inhabited, which caused the soil quality to become poor, and start to erode.

Asked a few of my friends at school if they had any recommendations of things I could do to this site, and I got a few decent ideas out of them. Changed the index page so that the cave actually looks like it's a gateway to the "realm of possibility", which has been a long standing idea of mine for a company, which I eventually want to create. Speaking of future occupations, I'm not really quite sure what I want to be. I'll probably talk about it off and on here in the diary, but to be honest I'm not quite sure what my future holds. Basically as of now, I plan on seeing what happens to the economy after the republican reign of stupidity *cough* Bush *cough*. I can barely believe that the United States people have allowed to happen the current course of events. How many of you are aware that the United States is losing 3 billion dollars a day? I scoff at public stupidity. When the democrats were in party I was getting a good 2% higher on my interest rates at the bank. That's why I want to be a democrat - every time a republican goes into office he starts to favor some sort of aristocracy. To be honest, I have trouble thinking of a good republican president since Washington. It's interesting how the so-called "democrats" were the republicans a few hundred years ago . . . so silly, people are so silly.

Speaking of money, I really should make a bank deposit (mental note to self)

I've actually got a bunch of little things I should go do around the house before the nights over, for example . . . There's the standard routine that I've been "trained" into - Unpack my lunch, do my homework (which I'll discuss next paragraph), clean my retainer, take a shower, work outside, crush the cans, whatever the course of action may be at the time, you all know how life is. I honestly like to work though, it's weird, it's almost . . . relaxing. Working at the church is a convenience in many ways. It pays well! I can play a high quality piano and organ for free as loud as I want! No set hours! What a deal!

Moving on to discuss homework. You realize teachers suck the life out of me in school for approximately 8 hours a day, that's almost as much as the average male works at his job when he "matures". Now, let me get this straight. I can't get a "job" until I'm "successful" in the eyes of the state. Oh, oh, I get it. I can't read. I can't write (what you're reading isn't writing, really!). I also can't spell for beans, and I'm incompetent. Oh yeah, that's only until I hit 21, then I'm good. I'd go on into a rant about how the system should be changed to suit the needs of the intelligentsia.

Don't get me wrong though, if you remember my last entry, my favorite thing to do is to learn. I learn best off of visuals, but I'm not exactly bad at listening either. My listening skills aren't quite as great as my reading skills, which is one of the reasons I prefer visual exercises to oral ones. That's going to need to change a bit though, especially so I can be competitive in the job market of today. Don't get me wrong, money is just a material part of mankind, I don't regret spending it because I work hard to earn it. That's how it should be. Anyhow, superhuman, here I come.

Tis time to go, there's much left to be done outside before the sun drops.

Until next time my friends.
