I'm exhausted, so this will be brief. The title says it all. The finals today went extremely well. The World Civ. test was hard, as I had expected, and I ended up remembering quite a few answers after turning the test in (as is predictable). I wrote four essays today. Three for the World Civ. test, and one for GATE after school hours. The GATE test was very frustrating - I was told there would be a prompt on poetry on the GATE test, however there was none. I had studied the poetry pamphlet inside and out, and knew it well, however I was doomed to writing about Far From the Madding Crowd. It's not as though this is such a bad thing - it challenged me, and I enjoyed it. I got to write about the significance in the name of the character "Gabriel Oak" in terms of relation to nature. There's the obvious "Oak" analysis - being a tree and what not (I went into much further depth, but like I said I'm exhausted) - but I also went into talking about Gabriel's role in the bible. Too bad I have very little biblical knowledge, otherwise it may have been accurate information. The Math test was a breeze. I was extremely prepared and confident going into the test, and I have a feeling I scored well. I'll check my results and class grade tomorrow! I said it'd be a short entry and I meant it - I'm exhausted, it's relaxing time. Math takes a lot out of me! Take care my friends. P.S. This is my journal's hundredth anniversary.
