Notes for Child: Anna Sheward[UL:Obituary of Mrs. Anna Myers:UL] Mrs. Anna Myers was born in Virginia, August 15, 1800 and died near Greenup, Illinois November 21, 1892. While yet young her parents moved to Ohio where she was married to her first husband, David Glen. Soon after their marriage, they moved to Shelby Co, Indiana. Two children were born to them and Mr. Glen died in that county. She was then married to Alexander Myers and moved to Hamilton County, Indiana, leaving that county for Illinois in 1867, where they resided until his death in 1878. Since that time she has made her home with her children. She lived here (Kempton Ind.) with her daughter, Mrs. Anna Spencer for some time and many of our citizens will remember her with affection. She died at the home of her daughter in Illinois after an illness of two days. She early in life became a member of church and maintained her integrity to it's teaching until death. Thus ends the life of one of the pioneer women of our county.![]()
