Statistics This page will help you understand the statistics on Jewish Groups.
Our Jewish Groups are very different from other forums you may have experienced on the Web, and the method of calculating the exposure to your product or service differs as well.
You may have tried to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising on websites. In general, they are measured in one of two ways:
All too often, the large number of disinterested click-through visitors results in very low practical results or actual sales.
Our groups are different. Our statistics have to be evaluated in a different way.
Each subscriber actually reads each posting sent to our groups. We do not put through many messages, and the messages that do get through are moderated carefully.
The small number of postings is to your benefit. They make an advertisement on Jewish Groups much more valuable and effective than on most other forums or venues.
Repeated postings or spraying postings on many groups would simply cause people to stop looking at the ads at all - which is what happens elsewhere.
Since the number of postings on Jewish Groups is limited, the subscribers justifiably feel that each message is worth reading – and they do just that. Every single subscriber is likely to read every message in that group.
How can that be compared to page views or "clicks through?"
The answer is simple.
It can't.
