Any e-mail that does get through the moderation process is focused and relevant - and it reaches every subscriber on the list. Our subscribers have learned that postings that do get through my strict moderation are worth reading. The very limited number of postings on each group assures you that each posting will be read.
Some groups artificially inflate or "pump up" their membership statistics by adding addresses to make the groups look large.
Not only do I not inflate the numbers, but I actively keep the subscriber base down to only those who have demonstrated that they are an asset to the group.
All of the "dead" or inappropriate addresses are weeded out on a regular basis. Thus, every recipient is guaranteed to be a verified "warm body" who actually waits for those postings.
Those facts are your assurance that nearly 100% of the recipients of any mailing will actually read it.
These facts differs greatly from any other known entity, whether -
Thus, if you are told that a group has 400 subscribers, that means that 400 serious, active readers.
We know of no other entity that can make such a strong guarantee.
