| The National Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague is located on highway 99, 7 miles north of I-40, in the town of Prague, OKLAHOMA. Prague is 60 miles east of OKC. A small Czech town. |
| The Shrine is located in the Parish Church of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. We offer a variety of religious items including a wide array of Statues of the Infant of Prague. For more information, contact Marcella or Barbara @ 405-567-3080. |
| Once a month, a novena is offered to the Infant Jesus of Prague. The novena begins on the 17th of each month through the 25th. Pilgrimage Sunday is the first Sunday which falls during the Novena between the 17th and 25th. (not on the 17th or 25th). Mass starts at 11:00 followed by a light lunch. Devotion to the Infant of Prague begins at !:00. |

| O miraculous Infant Jesus prostrate before your sacred image, we beseech you to cast a merciful look on our troubled hearts. Let your tender heart so inclined to pity be softened by our prayers, and grant us that grace for which we ardently implore You. Take from us all afflictions and despair, all trials and misfortunes with which we are laden. For Your sacred infancy's sake hear our prayers and send us consolations and aid, that we may praise you with the Father and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever. Amen |

| A FRIEND |
| What is a Friend? It is a person with whom you dare to be yourself. Your soul can be naked before him. He seems to ask of you to put on nothing; only to be what you are. He does not want you to be better or worse. When you are with him, you feel as a prinsoner feels who has been declared innocent. You don not have to be on your guard. You can say what you think, so long as it is genuinely you. He understands those contradictions in your nature that lead others to misjudge you, with him you breathe freely. You can avow your little vanities, envies, hates, viscious sparks, your meannesses, absurdities and in opening them up to him they are lost, dissolved on the white ocean of his loyalty. He understands. You do not have to be careful,. You can abuse him, neglect him, tolerate him. best of all, you can keep still with him. It makes no matter. He like you is like fire that purges to the bone. He understands You can weep with him, sin with him, laugh with him, pray with him. Through it all -and underneath- he sees, knows and loves you. A FRIEND? What is a Friend? just one; I repeat: with whom you dare be yourself. Who are your Friends? Do you really have any? |
