Most small businesses find it more cost effective and dependable to contract outside professional services rather than to hire employees for bookkeeping and accounting tasks such as most of those listed above. And you can further reduce costs by contracting a small accounting office rather than a large CPA firm or a large bookkeeping service, who acts as a middleman for their employees. Our fees for all services are basically $50 to $125 per hour, although if you prefer, a flat rate fee can be negotiated based on estimated time requirements or the value that our services provide to you. We will barter our services for your products and services, if we have a need for them, and offer several fee discount options. We also do half pro-bono work for charities.
You can contract us to do as few or as many of the above individual services that you need. Please call or E-mail us if you would like to arrange for a personal meeting to discuss these matters. If you are located outside of the San Diego county area, then we can do business by mail, express, E-mail, fax and telephone.
We hope that you know that a good accountant is an important part of what makes for a successful business. However, many small business owners do not realize until it is too late, how important that it is to work with an accountant before and regularly throughout the year. We have found that so many business owners wait until they have to file tax returns or need financial statements for their bank, to take their records to an accountant. This places stress on everyone, and can avert accuracy, and certainly valuable tax planning. With our practice, we specialize in helping small businesses get started, and comply with all tax filing requirements, and prepare financial statements for their bankers or their own managerial reviews. And just as importantly, we advise about how to save on taxes as much as possible, and avoid audit problems.
We hope to hear from you soon, and that we can help you with your personal or business tax and financial needs.
