The next house church meeting will be at one of GOD's many houses aka Seoul Baptist Church:

(P.S. Joyce is making these up and she is not good at making up directions, so good luck! My advice is to print out mapquest directions directly from your house).

General Directions

Our church is located close to the intersection between 290 and Fairbanks N Houston, or if you're coming from way up North, like 249, then it's the intersection of Beltway 8 and Fairbanks.

These are the different ways I know how to get there.

1) Take Beltway 8 North (if coming from south) until you can merge onto 290 - do so - I think it's 290 E, heading towards 610. Exit Fairbanks N Houston. There should be a Kroger and some store that has a big GOLF sign on it on your right. Turn left through the underpass, go on Fairbanks for about 5 minutes and you should see church on the left. The first entrance is the only one open (on non-Sundays); it has a convenient little turning cove area so that you won't be blocking cars behind you trying to turn into our church. The entrance looks steep, but you can go about 20 mph onto the ramp and still not hit your front or back bumpers. But don't take my word for it. But I've been going to SBC for 17 years and I've never been a car that got a bump from going too fast on that ramp.
Best for people who live in Alief, South Side, Katy, Memorial people who want to get to church fastest

2) Take Beltway 8 North feeder so that you don't have to pay the $1 toll. Go all the way down (you will pass streets like Hammerly and Clay) until Beltway hits 290. You will see the actual 290 highway perpendicular to the direction that your car is facing. At this point, you must turn right, onto West Little York. You will go over a big hill and through some stoplights and you might see Kroger somewhere along the way. Eventually, (about 3 minutes later) you will come to the Gessner/W. Little York intersection. Go straight until the next streetlight, I think it's Windfern. Turn left onto Windfern (or stay straight on Little York and hit Fairbanks - either way is fine). The next streetlight will be Emmott. Turn right. Go down until you get to the next intersection, and you will be at Fairbanks N Houston. Turn left onto Fairbanks, go down about 3 minutes, see our church on the left, turn into the first gate.
Best for cheap people who live in Alief, South Side, Katy, Memorial...

3) Take I-10 East until you hit 610. Take 610 N (the one middle left lane) which will later separate into 610 E and 290 I think. Take 290 all the way until you pass Northwest Mall on the left, some streets called Antoine, Tidwell, Hollister, and eventually you'll see Fairbanks N Houston. Exit, turn right onto Fairbanks. Go all the way down (5 minutes) until you see church on the left. Enter through first gate.
Best for people who live between Beltway and 610 but closer to 610.

4) Take Gessner North, (Echo Lane--->Blaylock--->Fairbanks (the streets all turn into each other) is another option) all the way down passing such roads as I-10, Hammerly, Clay, and Hempstead, until you reach 290. Turn right onto the 290 feeder; the next street will be Fairbanks N Houston. Turn left onto Fairbanks, go down 5 minutes, (2 minutes if you speed way above the 45 mph speed limit); church will be on your left. Enter through first gate.
Best for yours truly's family or anyone who lives near Memorial City Mall or off Gessner.

5) From Rice: (I'm kinda guessing) - take 59 S, so you'll go from Shepherd, to Kirby, to Buffalo Speedway; Get onto 610 N, stay on 610 N until it merges with 290 W? Get on 290, exit Fairbanks, see other directions for more details.
Best for people who go to Rice or live somewhere over there.

Well, for some reason, I tried MapQuest, but they wouldn't show any maps! I just came across a bunch of those annoying x's that mean that the picture cannot be found. Grrr!! Well, like I said, our church is off 290, on Fairbanks N Houston. I hope you guys make it there!! =) And if anyone would like to provide better directions, please please do.

Interesting Fact About Church:
So many poopoo stories have happened at church, yup. Oh - something more interesting is that Seoul Baptist Church used to only occupy the "two trailers" (now converted into one trailer) that New Life Fellowship now resides in. Now we have lots of buildings. =P And there also used to be a basketball court on the blacktop in front of the playground that everyone used to play on. I remember even Catherine would join in on the games, but the team she was on always lost. =(
