A quick overview of my life...

Well I was born on October 2, 1979 somewhere around 2pm at Brookhaven hospital in Long Island, NY to Jim and Elaine Scorzelli, I spent my childhood growing up with my two sisters, Nicole and Melissa in Mastic NY, I moved to Winter Park, Florida with my family in 1990 when I was 10 years old. I graduated from Winter Park High School in 1997 at the age of 17. Afterwards, I didnt go back to school until January 1998, I just wasnt quite ready to go right back to school in August. So I enrolled in Valencia Community College at the Winter Park Campus, did a semester there and hated it. I just did not feel like I was in college. So I switched to East Campus in January of 1999, I love it there. I will be finishing my degree in December of 2000, and either will be transferring to University of Florida or University of Central Florida. My major has changed three times, which I am told is not uncommon. I finally decided on Clinical Psychology, and I haven't thought twice about it since. This year I experienced a major loss in my life that has set me back a bit in college, this past summer I lost my mom to cancer, she was diagnosed in May and died in August. You really never know what kind of a curveball life can throw at you until it actually does. I miss her a lot, and know that she is watching over me and making sure I am doing the right things. When people ask me if I have learned anything from this experience and I say to them, yes I have, make sure you keep the lines of communication open with your parents and tell them that you love them and share your life with as much as possible because you never know when you won't be able to anymore.

Friends and College life......

Well where do I start...? My best friend is Phil Ferrero, we both went to high school together and now are in college together, I don't think there is anything that can break up our friendship, because we have had some whopper fights and arguments before and it never ceased our friendship. Carla is my friend from when I worked in Brookstone in the christmas season of '98, I was the store manager and she was the assistant, but sometimes we forgot who was who :-) Evie who is my friend from glenridge middle school, so we go way back, there isnt anything she doesnt know about me, we both get great pleasure out of annoying each other for some reason, our latest thing though seems to be the Sony Playstation, we have become addicts. Holly is my friend who I have known since I was a lifeguard in Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, we go to clubs all the time, and she has a knack for grossing me out, we went to NC over the summer and drove back to Florida which was one hell of an experiance, ask her or me about it and we'll tell you all about it because its too much to type out. Jen is Holly's girlfriend, she is majoring in Film and Video Production at Full Sail, one thing that I have noticed about Jen is that she has a great smile, and I hear she is very ticklish too....Vera I met in my student success class, we go out all the time, she is a very cool person to hang with, I think our favorite hangout is Calico Jacks where we both have been going since we met in January. Ok about college, well I really like being in school, I have learned a hell of a lot more than I did in high school thats for damn sure. But college professors I think are a lot more liberal and cooler than regular high school teachers, sure there is a heavier work load but it IS college. Also you learn a lot more about adult life than high school could ever prepare you for such as, financial aid, living on your own for the first time, time managment, REAL study skills, and basically the fact that its ALL YOU.

So what do I DO in my spare time......

Well I love to roller blade, I usually roller blade all around the UCF campus and around my apartment complex. I usually rollerblade about 6-10miles at a time, its SOOO invigourating when I am done, I don't know if its the adrenaline rush or what, but it definitley relieves stress. I try to rollerblade a few times a week. I also love to swim, so going to the pool and the beach is one of my favorite things to do. I am also involved in student government and I love it. I also love to get together with all the friends mentioned above and have a blast.

Well I hope this page has been informative, i am constantly updating it so check back often, especially the photo gallery.
