Last year's 8^th place finish has left us with a proud corps, as well as enough fire under our bottoms to push us further this year. Here is the staff line-up for this season. Positions which differ from last year are still marked with an asterisk.

News for April 11, 2006

After the switch last year from King to Yamaha, the brass staff decided that we simply cannot be happy with the current instrumentation. For the 2006 season (and the forseeable future), we will be using Kanstul G Bugles. We will be using the following line-up of instruments for the hornline:

KSB102 Sopranos
KAB175 Altos
KMB180 Mellophones
KBB190 Baritones
KED195 Euphoniums
KCG200 Contras

For percussion we will continue to use the Yamaha line-up (same models, but new drums) from the two previous seasons. The Dreadnoughts have also decided to make a switch to Innovative Percussion implements for both pit and battery. The drum heads for battery will be as follows:

Snares - Black Max
Tenors - Ebony Suedes
Basses - Evans MX Series

At this time, a cymbal line will not be fielded; however, we still have the old line's Zildjian Stadium Mediums in case we decide to re-instate in the future.
