Sonny's Penthouse:
Carly(as she opens the door to Jax)What are you doing here? What would 
you have done if Sonny had opened the door.
Jax:I would have told him I was here to tell him to stay away from 
Brenda. Is Corinthos here?
Carly:No, Sonny's out of town.
Jax:Good, when do you expect him back.
Carly:I don't know. Sonny called me last night to tell me he and Uncle 
Luke are on their way to Italy. Why?
Jax:I need to find a way to convince Brenda to go through with the 
wedding. I need to find a way to make Brenda think Sonny has dumped her, 
again.
Carly:I kind of got that impression when she dropped by here looking for 
Sonny. You have any ideas.
Jax:As a matter of fact, I do. Do you have a sample of Corinthos' 
handwriting laying around here.
Carly:Why do you want it?
Jax:I'll take it to a forger and have a dear Brenda letter written in 
Sonny's handwriting. So can you get me a sample of his writing.
Carly:And just why should I help you?
Jax:Because we both want the same thing. To keep Sonny and Brenda apart.
Carly:No, I want a life with Sonny and you want revenge on Brenda. Once 
you have it, you intend to dump her, which will end my life with Sonny. 
Or have you changed your mind about going through with marrying her, 
after all?
Jax:(lies to gain her cooperation)I'm thinking about it, but if you 
don't help me there won't be a wedding to go through with. So can I have 
that sample of Sonny's handwriting, now?
Carly:I'll handle the letter, myself. I'll get it to you by the end of 
the day.

V's Apartment:
Felicia:So you've really given Jax an ultimatum.
V:Felicia, I didn't think I had a choice. You should have heard the way 
he was talking and the things he was saying. He was becoming a person I 
didn't even know right before my very eyes and I didn't even like him. I 
had to do something to make him see what his thirst for revenge was 
turning him into.
Felicia:So you told him to either show up to marry you at the JOP in 
East Meadows or what?
V:That about sums it up.
Felicia:Do you think he'll show.
V;I don't know. I know Jax really loves me, but Brenda is like a 
sickness in his blood. Maybe I didn't do much issue the ultimatum to Jax 
because I didn't like what his thirst for revenge was making him capable 
of as I did to make him just once choose me over Brenda. Felicia, we 
were going to get married and then she shows up and its off. Before I 
marry him, I need to know he's finally chosen me over her.
Felicia:And what if he doesn't choose you over Brenda.
V:Then it'll be over for good andI'll know where I really stand with 
him. Felicia, I deserve better than to be some man's second choice. If I 
don't come first with Jax, then he's just not the right man for me.
Felicia:Good for you.
V:So will you come to the justice of the peace with me?
Felicia:I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Helena's Yacht:
Helena(as Carly enters)Carly, I was so glad when I heard you were here 
to see me.
Carly:I need your help.
Helena:What can I do for you.
Carly:From what Uncle Luke told me I figured you'd be the person to come 
to. Could you have a forger forge this letter for me in this writing.
Helena(reads through the letter)Does this have something to do with the 
visit that Barrett creature paid to you, this afternoon.
Carly:You might say so. She's trying to steal my husband from me and I'm 
trying to stop her.
Helena:Then perhaps you should let her have him.
Carly:Excuse me, would you have let some woman just steal your husband 
away from you?
Helena:No, in fact, I went to great lengths to make sure that never 
happened.
Carly:And yet you're just suggesting I let my husband go.
Helena:I'm just trying to give you the benefit of my past experience.
Carly:You don't understand. I understand Sonny the way no one ever has 
before. Certainly better than Brenda ever did. And I know I can make him 
happier than Brenda because I know what he really wants and Brenda 
doesn't. She wants him to lead some boring safe little life that he'll 
end up hating. Sonny loves power and he loves danger and I accept that 
about him and I understand it because I feel the same way, but Brenda 
doesn't.
Helena:You could be talking about Mikkos and myself. I understood that 
man the way no other woman ever could. And for awhile our relationship 
was idealic. We had the same goals and interests in life. We wanted the 
same things. There were some meaningless dalliances, but they never 
touched our relationship. Then Kristen came into our lives and changed 
everything. She was the great love of Mikkos life.
Carly:You weren't?
Helena:No, like you, I wasn't the great love of my husband's life. But 
we had something better and more lasting together than some grand 
passion. We understood each other and accepted each other flaws and all. 
A grand passion only results in they lived happily ever after in 
fairytales. In real life it's the couple who understands each other and 
wants the same things out of life who passes the test of time.
Carly:What happened with Kristen?
Helena:I slit her throat to get her out of Mikkos' life.
Carly:You murdered her?
Helena;I thought of it as disposing of an annoying nuisance. Mikkos 
understood. He would have done the same thing if out situations had been 
reversed. But by killing the silly cow, I turned her into a martyr. She 
became an unobtainable dream for Mikkos. The perfect woman he could 
never had because I had killed her. And until the day he died, Kristen 
remained an obstacle between Mikkos and myself. Things were never the 
same between us after that. Which is why I advised you to let your 
husband go. If I had let Mikkos go, the flame between him and Kristen 
wold have quickly died out when he realized she didn't really know and 
understand him and she wanted him to be someone he really wasn't and 
live a life he didn't really want. If you manage to hang on toyour 
husband, Brenda Barrett will remain a factor in your marriage for the 
rest of your lives and an obstacle that will prevent the two of you from 
ever really being happy together. He'll constantly wonder what his life 
might be like if he was with her instead
of you. If life would be better, sweeter or more happy with her than it 
is with you. But if you let him go and let him find out what life is 
like withi her and he realizes it's not what he really wants you'll be 
the woman who stands between them. The woman he pines for. The woman he 
knows could make him truly happy. And when he leaves Brenda Barrett and 
comes back to you, she will never be a factor between you, ever again.
Carly:And what if life with Brenda turns out to be what Sonny really 
wants, after all. I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to take that risk. Will 
you forge this letter for me or not?
Helena:Of course, my dear. Whatever you want, you need only have to ask 
me for. Consider it done.
