Outside Sonny's Penthouse: Luke(as Sonny steps off the elevator with Michael)So you're finally up and around. Sonny:I didn't really have much choice. Michael got sick and Carly and I had to rush him to the hospital. Luke:Is he all right. Sonny:(to the baby)You're just fine. Aren't you Michael.(to Luke)It was just a fever. What are you doing here. Luke:I told you I'd be back to see you. And I came bearing a gift. How'd you like to jet off with me to Greece. Sonny:What are you? Ed McMahon. What's up? Luke:I discovered what the connection between Helena and Virginia Benson was. Brace yourself. You're not going to believe this. They were sisters. Sonny:You're kidding. Why the trip to Greece. Luke:I figure there must be more information stored away in the Cassadine compound in Greece, but I can't get in there alone. I'm going to need your help. So are you game? Sonny:Why not? At least if I'm off helping you I won't have to thinking about the fact I've got a virus in my bloodstream slowly turning my healthy blood bad. Luke:Have you talked to Brenda since this happened. Sonny:No, I tried to call her, but I found out she and Jax are off in Alaska with his family. Luke:Do you think she'll be safe with them. Sonny:If I didn't, I'd be on a plane to Alaska as we speak. No, I'm sure Brenda's fine as long as I stay away from her. John Jacks won't harm a hair on her head as long as his goldenboy son wants to marry her. Grant's Office, General Hospital: Carly(enters)Could I talk to you for a moment, Dr. Andrews. Grant:Of course, I thought you'd be home with your husband and son. Carly:I would be, but something important has come up. Dr. Andrews, will whatever I say to you be in complete confidence. Grant:Of course. Carly:Dr. Andrews, until this afternoon I believed AJ Quartermaine was my son's father. But after what you told me about Matacumbe Syndrome it's got me wondering if it's at all possible that Sonny could really be Michael's father. Can you help me find out the truth. Grant:How? Carly:It's a long story, but I have no idea who my real father is so it's entirely possible I'm the one who could have passed the Matacumbe toxins on to Michael. Could you run a blood test onme to see if my blood carries the toxins in it. Grant:Of course and if it doesn't? Carly:If I can convince Sonny to have an HIV test done, could you also run a paternity test at the same time on Michael's blood and Sonny's to see if they're father and son. Wyndemere: Stefan(enters)Are you still mad at me? Bobbie:No, you've told me what it was like for you to grow-up in the Cassadine family as the unwanted son and how Helena mistreated you. I know keeping that painting from Helena must be like finally getting a little of your own back at her. But I really think giving Helena that painting back is the only way out of this mess for us. The only way I'm going to be able to keep Lucas from Tony and your mother. Stefan:I agree, that's why I went to see my mother and agreed to give her back her painting. Bobbie:You did? Stefan:I did. Only I negotiated a little better deal with my mother than you'd agreed to. Bobbie:What's the new deal. Stefan:Everything's the same except now you don't have to testify in Jones behalf at his hearing. Bobbie:But if I don't testify for Tony he'll most assuredly go down for all his crimes. Stefan(smiles)Exactly. Bobbie:And your mother is willing to let her new husband crash and burn? Stefan:I think Mother thought it was worth it to have me personally give her back her painting after all these years of keeping her away from it. Bobbie:You're willing to give up that painting for me? Stefan:Barbara, don't you know. You're far more important to me than that painting is. I love you. Bobbie(throws her arms around him)I love you, too. Sonny's Penthouse: Sonny(as Carly enters)So, how did things go with your mother? Carly:Just fine. Is Michael all settled in? Sonny:He's as snug as a bug in a rug. Carly:Actually, Bobbie and I got to talking about my father. She was telling me about the first time they met. And it kind of got me to thinking about the first time we met at Jake's. Sonny:You mean the night when I first returned to town. Carly:No, I was thinking of the night before that one. Sonny:Carly, why are you bringing that up now after all this time. I thought we agreed we'd never mentioned to each other or anyone else. Carly:I'm not ashamed of it. It was the first time we ever made love. Sonny:No, it was the first time we had sex. I came into Jake's looking to sleep with a woman. Any woman. I was hurt and angry. I couldn't believe after all Brenda and I had been through together that she'd actually believe I'd plant drugs on her just so I could get her back. So I wanted to pay her back by sleeping with another woman. You as it turned out to be. And you'd had some fight or something with Tony Jones and you were looking for the same thing I was. So we ended up going upstairs and having sex, which we both immediately regretted, afterwards. Carly, you agreed we'd forget it ever happen. So why are you bringing it up after all this time. You didn't mention a word about it that night at Jake's. You came up to me and acted like we'd never met before and I played along with you because I figured you didn't want to remember that previous night anymore than I did. Carly:I don't know why I brought it up. I was just thinking. When we walked out of that room above Jake's I wanted a life with Tony and you wanted one with Brenda. It's just kind of ironic that after the way we began we ended up together, don't you think. Sonny:Life holds strange twists and turns. Look at me. Who would have ever thought John Jacks would inject me with infected blood to stop Brenda from dumping his son for me. I certainly wouldn't. Carly:Speaking of which, don't you think it's time you let Dr. Andrews do an HIV test on you. If you do have it, isn't it better you know about it as soon as possible so they can start treating you and prolong your good health? Sonny:I suppose you're right. Not having the test isn't going to make me not have the disease. All right, I'll make an appointment to do it before Luke and I head to Greece. Carly:You and Uncle Luke are going to Greece. Since when? Sonny:When I got home Luke was waiting for me and he asked me to go along with him and I said I would. You don't mind, do you? Carly:No, I think a trip to Greece with Luke will be good for you. Why don't you call Dr. Andrews now and set up that appointment. Sonny:All right, I mayaswell get it over with. Bobbie's Bedroom, Wyndemere: Bobbie(takes a locket from her jewelry box. A gift from Cass Stepehens during their brief romance)I really should give this to Carly. Then she could have something of her father's. (her mind drifts back to the past to the second time she met Cass Stephens. Bobbie had returned to the same spot on the beach that she's met him the previous day hoping that she might run into him, again. Although, he was obviously out of her league, something about him intrigued her. And eventhough he seemed like an egghead, he was a really cute egghead)So, we meet again. Cass:Ah, the sand thrower. Bobbie:Still reading War and Peace, the russian edition. Cass:No, I finished that. Now, I'm reading Nostradamus, the latin version. Bobbie:Don't you ever read anything in english? Cass:I believe it stimulates the mind more by reading books written in different languages, like french, latin and russian. Bobbie(decided right then and there to see if she couldn't stimulate his other senses)Since you're doing nothing but reading, would you mind rubbing some suntan lotion on my back. I burn easily.(she hands him the bottle) Cass(takes it as he heaves a long-suffering sigh)I suppose not.(then Bobbie turns her back on him and begins to unfasten her bikini top)What do you think you're doing? Bobbie:(bites her bottom lip to keep from laughing)I don't want a tan line. (she holds her top to her breasts as she turns around to him)Oh, by the way, I'm Roberta Anderson. Cass(looking down at her barely concealed breasts)I'm Cass Stephens. Bobbie(comes back to the present with a smile on her face)I can't believe I did that. But I did. And after that it was only a matter of time before we ended up in bed together. And Cass Stephens sure wasn't an egghead in bed.
