Stefan's Car, On The Way Back To Port Charles: Stefan:How are you doing? Bobbie:Wishing I was crazy and Tony was really dead. If you'd have asked me if I'd welcome being crazy six hours ago, my answer would have been no. But knowing I didn't imagine that scene in my bathroom and that it was really Tony holding my head under the water is far more frightening than being crazy. Stefan, Tony is dangerous, more dangerous than he was when he kidnapped me and held me prisoner in his cabin. There's no telling what he may try to do to me next. Stefan:You must have passed out when Jones was terrorizing you in the bathroom. Then he probably lifted you out of the tub, dried you off, put you in your robe, dried you hair, then carried you back into the bedroom and laid you on the bed where you awoke, later. Bobbie:God, Stefan, do you know how creepy that makes me feel to know he was touching me while I was out cold. That he could have done anything he wanted to do to me and I couldn't do a thing to stop him. I feel completely violated. Stefan:I can only imagine. The really scary thing is Jones might have gotten away with convincing you that you imagined the whole thing if he hadn't have gotten sloppy and left those wet towels behind the bathtub and your blow-dryer plugged in and sitting on the edge of the tub. Maybe he panicked when he heard me ringing the doorbell and was in such a rush to make his escape he got sloppy. Bobbie:Stefan, he's been hiding somewhere in the Brownstone all this time, hasn't he? Stefan:I'm afraid so. Barbara, you said the other night you kept hearing Jones' voice. Tell me about that. Bobbie:I was sound asleep when I awoke to this awful sound. It sounded like the house was breathing. Then Tony started calling my name and he kept it up all night long. Stefan:Jones must have sound equipment planted all over the Brownstone. He really hasn't missed a trick. Sonny's Penthouse: Sonny(and Carly enter)It's good to be home. Carly:What do you have planned for the day. Sonny:Nothing, why? Carly:I thought you, me and Michael could spend the day together. Sonny:That sounds like fun.(he starts going through the mail)Oh, what's this? Carly:What is it? Sonny:You're not going to believe this. We just gotten an invitation to Jax and Brenda's engagement ball. Carly:Can we go? Sonny:Are you nuts? I'm not going to a party to honor an engagement for a wedding that's never even going to happen. Carly:Sonny, didn't you say you and Brenda are playing a game of Chicken with each other. Sonny:Yeah. Carly:Well, by sending you this invitation, Brenda's zooming towards you and if you don't go it'll be like you lost your nerve and veered out of the way. Sonny:You have a point. Carly:So are we going. Sonny:Yeah, we're going.(he looks at the invitation, again, and makes a face)Oh, great, it's a stupid costume ball. That means we're going to have to dress up in some silly get-up. Carly:Stop being such a sourpuss, Sonny. It'll be fun. What should we go as. Sonny:How about I go as a gangster and you can go as my moll. Carly:We're supposed to pretend to be somebody else. We're not supposed to go as ourselves. Never mind, I'll think of something. Sonny:It just better not be something that makes me look like a fool, or I'm warning you, I'm not going. Carly:Trust me. Stefan's Car, On The Way Back To Port Charles: Bobbie:So what do we do next? Stefan:The one thing we can't do is let Jones know that we're on to him. He has to think he's still the one in control. Bobbie:So what do you want me to do? If I suddenly move out of the Brownstone, he's going to know we're on to him. So does that mean I'm going to have to continue living there no Tony's creeping around in the house, somewhere? Stefan, I don't think I can do that. How can I act like nothings wrong when I know Tony's just waiting to jump out and pounce on me. Stefan:Actually, for our purposes it would be better if you acted like you were coming apart at the seams. It's obvious he's trying to make you doubt your sanity. To lull Jones into a false sense of security, you're going to have to pretend his plan is working and you're losing your grip on reality. Bobbie:Stefan, I may not have to pretend I'm losing it if I have to live in the same house as Tony. Just waiting for Tony to make his next move may just cause my mind to snap. You do realize that everytime Tony pulls one of his stunts they're getting progressively more violent, don't you? It started out with him peeking in the window at me, and now he's hiding in my house and trying to drown me in my bathtub. It just seems like Tony's working his way up to something really violent and deadly. Stefan:That's why it's of paramount importance for you to play along with Jones so he thinks everything is going according to his plan, whatever it may be. Then he'll get arrogant and careless and he'll slip up and we'll be there to catch him. Bobbie:Stefan, maybe we should go to the police for help. Tony may be too much for us to handle all on our own. Stefan:And tell them what? That we buried him alive and now he's out to get us. They might just be on his side after we tell them that. Besides, if we go to the police and tell them about Jones, it just might drive him underground and then we won't know where he is. When a snake is slithering around in the grass, it's always better to know in what general vicinity he's doing his slithering in so he doesn't sneak up behind you and bite you on the butt. No, by going to the police, we'd be tipping our hand and giving away our advantage against Jones. Right now, we're in the right positon to lure Jones into a trap, involving the police will only ruin that. My only major concern at the moment is how we can make sure you're completely safe when you're alone with Jones in the Brownstone. Bobbie:I've got a gun and I know how to use it. I'll start carrying it around with me everywhere I go. Just how are we going to trap Tony, anyway. Stefan:No offense to your shooting skills, but I want to put a wire on you so I can hear everything that's going on inside the Brownstone with you at all times. I'll sit in my car and park it down the street from the Brownstone so I won't tip off Jones, but I'll be close enough so I can rush into the Brownston and stop Jones from harming you in anyway. Bobbie:Actually, I'll feel a lot safer knowing you're just outside waiting to run to my rescue if I need saving from Tony. But, Stefan, if we succed in trapping Tony, just what are we going to do with him when we've got him. I don't think us sitting him down and telling him to stop is going to work. Tony is completely out of control and capable of anything. Stefan:That's why there's only one thing we can do with Jones once we've got him. We have to kill him. ................................................................. ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com
