Sonny's Penthouse:
Carly(comes downstairs)Good morning, Sonny. What time did you come to 
bed, last night. It must have been late. I tried to wait up for you,but 
I eventually fell asleep.
Sonny:Actually, I slept in Stone's room, last night. It was late when I 
finally turned in and I didn't want to disturb you.
Carly:You wouldn't have disturbed me. Are you sure there isn't another 
reason you didn't want to sleep with me, last night?
Sonny:Carly, we'll be divorcing in a few months. I really don't think 
it's fair of me to continue to sleep with you. I think maybe it would be 
for the best if I moved into Stone's bedroom for the duration of our 
marriage.
Carly:This is because of Brenda, isn't it?
Sonny:Why would you think that?
Carly:Sonny, I was on my way downstairs, last night, when I heard you 
tell Luke you slept with Brenda.(her eyes get teary and her chin begins 
to wobble)Sonny, are you going to leave Michael and me for her?
Sonny:Carly, Brenda or no Brenda, you know our marriage is going to 
eventually end when the judge grants you permanent custody of Michael.
Carly:That wasn't what I meant. I mean are you going to break the 
promise you made to me and Michael. Are you going to abandon us for 
Brenda the way you father abandoned you and your mother.
Sonny:Carly, you know I'd never do something like that.
Carly:Your father did it to you and your mother and his blood runs 
through your veins. 
Sonny:Look, I am nothing like my father. I would never do to you and 
Michael what my father did to me and my mother. Carly, whatever I decide 
to do, I won't do it until you've been granted permanent custody of 
Michael. Carly, when I married you, I made a commitment to you and 
Michael and I have every intention of fulfilling it.
Carly:Sonny, you told me you were through with love. That all it caused 
you was misery and pain. So why are you suddenly thinking about going 
back to Brenda. Was the sex that good that you're willing to open 
yourself up to more pain and heartache.
Sonny:Look, Carly, I'm very confused at the moment. I don't even know 
what I want. Or who I want or what I'm even going to end up doing or 
who'll I'll be doing it with. All I can promise you is if I do decide to 
go back to Brenda, I'll make sure you and Michael are safe from the 
Quartermaines, first. And until I decide what I'm going to do, I'm going 
to move out of our bedroom and into Stone's.. I just can't continue 
sleeping with you, now. It isn't right and it isn't fair to either you 
or Brenda.(with that he leaves)
Luke(stands at the top of the stairs clapping)An excellent performance, 
Sweet Caroline. The tears were a nice touch, but the crowing glory was 
asking Sonny if h e was going to abandon you and the kid. You really hit 
Sonny where he lives with that one. You never miss a trick, do you. You 
go right for the jugular without a seconds thought.
Carly:You know, I heard what you said to Sonny, last night. I'm your 
niece. Your supposed to be on my side, Uncle Luke. Haven't you ever 
heard that blood is thicker than water.
Luke:Look, I don't like Brenda any better than you do. But there's 
something you'd better face. Those two are in each other's blood. 
They're not really happy unless they're together making each other 
miserable. And if they're together at least they won't be subjecting 
themselves on some innocent person. Give it up, Caroline. You don't have 
a snowball's chance in hell of winning this one.
Carly:Oh, I wouldn't be so sure of that, Uncle Luke. You shouldn't count 
me out, just yet.

V's Apartment:
Felicia;So, how did it go with Brenda?
V:That woman in incredible.
Felicia:Somehow I don't think you meant that as a compliment.
V:I don't. Get this. When I entered the boathouse, Brenda was just 
pulling on her dress.
Felicia;As in she'd had it off? V, you're not suggesting...
V:Exactly. It was obvious she'd just had sex with Sonny Corinthos and 
when I accused her of it, she didn't even try to deny it.
Felicia:So did you deliver your ultimatum. Tell Jax the truth or else?
V:Yes, not that it did much good. Brenda advised me to keep my mouth 
shut. According to her if I try to open Jax's eyes to her, he'd turn on 
me the same way he did on Miranda.
Felicia:I hate to say this, V, but she may have a point. Miranda read 
Brenda's letter to Sonny revealing they had a quickie in the catacombs 
and told Jax about it. Now, you've read Brenda's medical files. It's 
very possible Jax may react to it the same way he did to Miranda.
V:Just how did he react to Miranda.
Felicia:He ordered her to leave Port Charles. I think you should follow 
Brenda's advice. Let Jax get his eyes opened to Brenda by Brenda.
V:What if he doesn't open his eyes to her. Felicia, he wears blinders 
when it comes to that woman. He's got this fantasy image of her built up 
in his mind and he refuses to see Brenda for the way she really is.
Felicia:Something tells me this time he will. I don't think Brenda will 
give him any choice in the matter. From what you've said it sounds like 
the amnesia has caused her to revert back to her old self. Pretty soon 
Jax has got to see the Brenda he's in love with is an illusion and she 
doesn't really exist.
V:Brenda did say she was done pretending to be the Brenda Jax thinks she 
is just to please him.
Felicia:See, so just keep quiet and let Brenda turn Jax against her all 
by herself. Then when she has, you can step in and pick up the pieces 
and you and Jax can pick up where you left off.

Jason's Bike Shop:
Brenda(enters, looking around)So, this is where you're hanging your gun 
holster these days, is it?
Jason:How did it go with Sonny, last night. 
Brenda:I'm not sure.
Jason(smirks)So, you overestimated your charms, did you. You didn't get 
a chance to see if Sonny was wearing boxers or briefs, did you. You 
struck out. Did he shoot you down?
Brenda:Certainly not. I'll have you know Sonny and I made incredible, 
passionate love, last night. It was like being in the eye of a hurrican 
or being swept up inside of a twister. When Sonny and I are together 
it's like we're a force of nature. Together were like lightning, thunder 
and the wind all rolled into one. When we make love it's like all the 
elements of the earth coming together.
Jason:If it was that good, then why aren't you feeling more positive and 
confident about the whole thing.
Brenda:Because Sonny took off afterwards claiming it wasn't what he 
wanted. He's been burned before and he doesn't want to be burned again. 
Last I saw of him he was going home with Carly. Right now, I have no 
idea where his head is at, and until I do I can't know what my next move 
should be. 
Jason:Just where did this meeting of the elements take place? Outside in 
the grass under the stars.
Brenda:No, we made love in the boathouse.
Jason:Any chance someone might have seen you.
Brenda:Why?
Jason:I can put this information to good use. Whisper it into the right 
ears. Benny's ears, for instance. Then Benny will tell the others, who 
won't like it at all. Of course, when Sonny finds out, he's going to 
want to know how I found out and I'm sure you don't want me to tell him 
I found out from you. So, did anyone see you.
Brenda:V. She didn't catch us in the act, if that's what you mean. But 
she came into the boathouse as I was getting dressed and she guessed 
that Sonny and I had had sex. 
Jason:Perfect, V, can be our fall guy. Okay, this is what I want you to 
do. You said you want to find out where Sonny's head is at, well, I want 
you to wait until I've spoken with Benny before you go to see Sonny. 
That way, with luck, when Benny goes over to confront Sonny about what 
I've told him, he'll catch you with Sonny, which will only add more fuel 
to the fire.
Brenda:Why is that so important.
Jason:Because Benny and the others know how Sonny gets when he's around 
you. It messes up his thinking. So, if they think Sonny's back with 
you'll they'll drop him like a hot potato.
Brenda:And you can step in a pitch yourself as their new savior from 
Moreno, is that it?
Jason:Exactly, now when Benny arrives this is what I want you to do...
Brenda:Jason, I don't know about this. I'm having second thoughts about 
helping you use me to sandbag Sonny's return to the mob. What if Sonny 
finds out, somehow. If he does, I could lose him before I've even gotten 
him back.
Jason:Come on, Brenda, this is no time to be getting cold feet on me. 
Besides, you know you want Sonny free of the mob. And this it the way 
and time to do it before he can assume total control of the mob. Once 
he's back in, he'll never be able to get out, again. And we both know as 
long as he's in the mob, you'll never be able to have the kind of life 
you want to have with him.
Brenda:I'm really only doing this for Sonny's own good, right? Of course 
I am. I'm just doing this so Sonny and I can have a life together. I'm 
not really betraying him when I'm helping him to have what we've both 
always wanted. A life together free of the danger that comes with the 
mob. All right, tell me what you want me to do.

Stefan's Office, General Hospital:
Bobbie(enters)Audrey said you wanted to see me.
Stefan:I've been thinking about the next move we should make to free 
Nikolas from Katherine's clutches.
Bobbie:I'm all ears. What do you have in mind.
Stefan:I think we need to put them in a social situation when they'd 
both see how ridiculous they are together as a couple. I think you 
should throw a dinner party at the Brownstone and invite Nikolas and 
Katherine as your guests.
Bobbie:And just how is this dinner party going to convince them that as 
a couple they're doomed. That it'll never work out for them in the 
long-run.
Stefan:I thought we could invite serveral couples who don't have such a 
wide difference in their ages so Nikolas and Katherine would see how 
mismatched they are as a couple.
Bobbie:I suppose that might work. Sometimes the most subtle methods are 
the most effective. I could invited a diverse group of couples. Lucky 
and Lizzie, Sonny and Carly, Jason and Robin and Jax and Brenda.
Stefan:Oh, that should me some party. Most of the guests can't stand 
each other. Your son-in-law despises your boyfriend's brother. Your 
daughter can't stand either Ms. Barrett or Ms. Scorpio and they feel 
likewise about your daughter. And Mr. Jacks and Mr. Morgan can't stand 
each other.
Bobbie:Well, at least it won't be boring. And Nikolas will believe I 
invited him and Katherine for dinner because I accept them as a couple.

Tony:Yes, I want to buy some sound equipment. My wife and I are having 
an authentic haunted house party. We want to wire our house for sound. 
We want to have eerie music and disembodied voices coming from all the
