Party at the Q Mansion:
Bobbie(watches Carly watch Brenda watching Sonny)Whatever you're 
thinking, don't do it.
Carly:Bobbie, just look at the hungry way that she-wolf is looking at my 
husband. It's like she has a craving for chocolate and Sonny's the last 
Hershey's kiss on the planet.
Bobbie:Carly, you're exaggerating.
Carly:No, I'm not. She's been devouring Sonny with her eyes from the 
moment we arrived. If some woman was looking at your husband that way 
what would you do.
Bobbie:Nothing, which is exactly what you're going to do.
Keesha(comes up to Sonny as he's about to take a sip of his drink)If I 
were you, Sonny, I wouldn't drink that drink.
Sonny:Oh, and why not?
Keesha:I saw Carly give that to you and when Carly gives you a drink, 
you never know what she might have put in it. You do know that Carly 
drugged AJ's drink once, then dumped him in an alley and poured booze 
all over him, don't you?
Sonny:No, I didn't until you just told me. Thanks for the info.(then he 
drinks his drink)
AJ(comes up to Bobbie and Carly)Congratulations on your marriage to 
Sonny, Carly. You're a braver person than I to take on Sonny.
Carly:What do you want you little troll?
AJ:I was just trying to congratulate you on having the courage to marry 
someone with as violent a temper as Sonny. You did see his violent 
temper in action before you married him, I hope, so you'll know not to 
provoke him the way you do me. You have such a pretty face. I'd hate to 
see Sonny lose his temper and do to you what he almost tried to do to 
Miguel. You do know that Sonny almost cut his face with a broken piece 
of glass, don't you? 
Carly:You've delivered your message, now go bother somebody else.
AJ:Carly, you're taking this the wrong way. You're the mother of my 
child and I was just trying to warn you out of concern for your 
well-being. But I'm sure if you walk on eggshells around Sonny there 
won't be any unpleasant incidents between the two of you.
Carly:Fine, you obsequious little worm, since you won't leave, I will.
I'll go over and try not to provoke my husband into smashing his 
champagne glass and slashing by face with a shard of glass.(as she heads 
over to Sonny she catches a snatch of conversation between Robin and 
Jason and stops dead in her tracks) 
Robin:Jason, isn't Brenda wearing the diamond bracelet Sonny gave her?
Jason:Jax must have givenher one that looks just like it. I gave Sonny 
back the bracelet he gave Brenda when he left Port Charles.(Carly 
narrows her eyes at Brenda before continuing on her way to Sonny)
Robin:No, I'm sure that's the bracelet Sonny gave her. Jason, you know 
Jax. He'd never give her something that understated. I'm going to go 
over to Brenda and find out how she got it back.
AJ:How'd it go with Sonny. Did you tell him what Carly did to me.
Keesha:I don't know. told him, but he didn't react much to it.
AJ:Neither did Carly when I told her about the incident between Sonny 
and Miguel.
Keesha:What should we do next? Should I tell Carly about Sonny giving 
drugs to Karen.
AJ:Considering Carly's past with drugging me I don't think it would 
matter much, and Sonny already knows about Carly sleeping with her 
mother's husband. Let me think for a minute. There's got to be something 
we can do to cause some trouble between them.
Sonny:I saw AJ talking to you. What did the little jerk want?
Carly:He told me you almost cut somebody's face with a broken piece of 
glass. Is it true?
Sonny:Yes, it's true. Miguel annoyed me. Keesha tells me you drugged AJ. 
Is that true?
Carly:Yes, like Miguel, AJ annoyed me.(she glares over at Brenda)Just 
like our guest of honor is doing at the moment.
Sonny:I wonder why the Q's invited us here, tonight, anyway. You're 
hardly bosom buddies with Brenda and I doubt after what I did to her 
they even want us in the same room together.
Carly:At first I thought it was to butter me up about Michael after the 
way they treated me, but now I'm beginning to wonder if little Miss 
Supermodel didn't have something to do with it, herself.
Sonny:Why would Brenda want me here. She could care less about me.
Carly:Sonny, why must men be so dense. She hasn't been able to keep her 
eyes off you since the minute you walked into the room.
Sonny:She's probably just feels uncomfortable about being in the same 
room with me. I know that's how I feel.
Carly:She's looking at you like she's picturing you without your clothes 
on. That's not someone whose uncomfortable. That's someone whose got the 
hots for you.
Keesha:Look, AJ, it looks like Sonny and Carly are fighting with each 
other. Maybe it worked, after all.
AJ:Sonny don't really trust anyone but themselves. If we can get them to 
distrust each other, they might just turn on each other. Then we can 
divide and conquer them.
Robin(sits down next to Brenda on the couch)Brenda, I couldn't help 
noticing the bracelet you're wearing. It is the one Sonny gave you, 
isn't it?
Brenda:It most certainly is, little sister.
Robin:But Jason said you gave it back to Sonny.
Brenda:Jason was wrong. Why would I ever give up one of my most 
treasured possessions.
Robin:Should you really be wearing it with Jax. When Sonny sees it he's 
going to have a fit.
Brenda(smirks as she continues staring at Sonny)That's exactly what I'm 
hoping for.
Carly:You want more proof. Take a look at what she's wearing on her 
wrist.
Sonny:What are you talking about?
Carly:If I miss my guest it's the bracelet you accused me of stealing 
from you.(Sonny looks at Brenda's wrist and sees his bracelet sparkling 
on her wrist)It is your bracelet, isn't it?
Sonny(clenching his jaw)Yes, it is.(Brenda notices Sonny staring at her 
and tauntingly lifts up her dress and swings her ankle so Sonny can see 
the matching bracelet on her ankle)And she's wearing the other one on 
her ankle.
Carly:What are you going to do about it.
Sonny:Nothing. She's trying to provoke me. If I don't let her get a rise 
out of me, she won't win.
Carly:You do know what this means, don't you? The only way she could 
have gotten those bracelets was by coming into our bedroom and taking 
them.
Sonny:Let it go, Carly. If she sees you react she'll only be getting 
what she wants.
Carly:Sonny, I'm not going to let her get away with this. She broke into 
our apartment. That's breaking and entering. She stole those bracelets 
from you. That's called theft. We could have her arrested for that. If 
you won't confront her about this, then I will(she stomps over to 
Brenda)
Sonny:Carly, don't...
Robin:I still can't believe Sonny actually married Carly.
Brenda:Neither can I. Just how long has Sonny been involved with her, 
anyway.
Robin;It can't be long. Sonny hasn't been back that long.
Brenda:And yet he married her. It sounds like there's something fishy 
going on here. Sonny only married Lily because Hernando Rivera forced 
him to and we both know how long it took Sonny to propose to me on his 
own, yet he married Carly Roberts of his own freewill after knowing her 
for only a few short weeks. I don't think so.
Robin:I think he did it to help her win the custody case. You know how 
Sonny likes helping wounded birds. He did it with Stone and Jason, and 
now he's done the same thing with Carly, only this time he's got a 
vulture on his hands. Oh, god, don't look now. She's coming this way.
Felicia(and V watch Jax chatting with Jerry)Look at him, V. I can't 
believe he hasn't even noticed the way Brenda's been eating Sonny up 
with her eyes all night long.
V:Felicia, it's been my experience that when it comes to women, men 
can't see what's right in front of their own faces to save their lives, 
but even more so with Jax. When Jax loves someone he only sees what he 
wants to see. He has this idealized vision of a Brenda who doesn't exist 
and never has. In his mind Brenda is the innocent victim of evil Sonny 
Corinthos. Everything she did to hurt him in the past was really Sonny's 
fault. She's blameless. He even believes Brenda never really loved 
Sonny. That he was just a substitute for her father. Jax truly believes 
he's the only man Brenda has ever really loved. It's the same with his 
parents and brother. They lied to him about Miranda, Sonny told him how 
his father crippled some man and yet he was completely shocked when he 
learned his father and brother had mob connections. But I think deep 
down Jax knew the truth long before it was revealed, only he convinced 
himself it wasn't true until he had no choice but to face the truth.
Felicia:Are you still determined to confront Brenda with what you know.
V:More than ever. After watching her behavior towards Sonny Corinthos, 
tonight, I'm more determined than ever to make Brenda stop leading Jax 
on. And the first chance I get to get her alone, I'll do just that.
Carly(sits down next to Brenda and Robin)You're like a queen in her 
court, aren't you. You've got allyou loyal subjects bowing and scraping 
to you. You've got your knave, Sir Jax, playing fetch and carry for you 
bringing you drinks and cocktail weinies. You've got the Q's fawning all 
over you. And you even have you loyal little toady, Robin, here, to do 
your bidding for you. Tell me, Robin, did she send you to steal those 
diamond bracelets she's wearing from Sonny or did she do her own dirty 
work for a change.
Brenda:I can't steal what mine to begin with.
Robin:Brenda's right. Those bracelets belong to her. Sonny gave them to 
her.
Carly:Belonged. Past tense, Preacher Girl. Your buddy Brenda gave them 
back so they no longer belong to her. They belong to Sonny. When Sonny 
noticed they were missing he accused me of taking them. I don't 
appreciate being blamed for your crime, Brenda.
Brenda:Crime? Don't you think you're exaggerating a little.
Carly:Hardly, you broke into our apartment, you rifled through my 
husband's things and you stole them. We could have you arrested for 
breaking and entering, unlawful trespassing and theft.
Brenda:I'd like to see you try. I didn't break and enter, anywhere. I 
let myself in with my key.
Carly:Look, I'm not going to debate this with you.(she holds out her 
hand)I want you to take those bracelets off, now, and give them to me so 
I can return them to my husband. And while you're at it, you can also 
give me your key to our apartment.
Brenda:These bracelets are mine. Sonny gave them to me. Whether or not I 
gave them back they will always belong to me. Just like Sonny will 
always belong to me. The only way you'll get these bracelets away from 
me is to cut off my hand and foot. And just as I've reclaimed my 
bracelets, I'll do the same with Sonny.(she gets up and makes a beeline 
for Sonny leaving a furious Carly behind)
