V's Apartment:
Felicia:So now that Brenda's back Jax is blowing you off. Why do you 
want this guy.
V:I love him. I guess I'm as obsessed with him as he is with Brenda. No 
matter how he treats me I go running back for more. But, wait, you 
haven't heard the best, yet.
Felicia:There's more.
V:After Jax left, I went for a walk and guess who I saw. Brenda. And she 
wasn't alone. She was on the docks with Sonny.
Felicia:Sonny?
V:Sonny. And they were real cosy, if you know what I mean. Which got me 
to thinking. When Jax and I ran into Brenda she was standing watching 
Sonny and Carly.
Felicia:Didn't Sonny and Carly just get married, yesterday. Just what 
are you suggesting.
V:I don't know. Maybe I'm readingmore into it than there is or maybe I'm 
not.
Felicia:You think Brenda wants to start up with Sonny, again. Wouldn't 
that be ironic if Jax gaveup a woman who truly loves him for one who 
wants another man.
V:That's what I'm afraid of an I want to prevent that from happening.
Felicia:V, let the chips fall where they may. Jax made his choice. Let 
him get what's coming to him.
V:Felicia, I love Jax enough to want to see him happy. If Brenda's still 
in love with Sonny, I've got to find out so I can stop her from hurting 
Jax, again.
Felicia:Just how do you intend to find out.
V:I'm going to go to California and do a little investigating at the 
clinic she stayed in.

Nikolas' Room, General Hospital:
Nik:Thanks for slipping in the burger and fries, Bobbie.
Bobbie:I know how bad the hospital food is. Nikolas, have you thought 
about where you're going to go when y ou're released from here, 
tomorrow.
Nik:I thought I'd go back to the Quartermaines with Katherine.
Bobbie:Nikolas, is what I heard true. You and Katherine are engaged.
Nik:Bobbie, if you're going to say something against Katherine...
Bobbie:No, I'm hardly in the position to do that. But if you're truly 
serious about marrying Katherine, you've got to think about building a 
life with her. Stefan raised you to have a lot of pride, so I don't see 
you living off her money. So that means you're going to have to find a 
place to live and ajob to support, yourself. I mean, you can't live with 
the Quartermaines for the rest of your lives, can you?
Nik:You have a point.
Bobbie:So I was thinking you could move into a room above Kelly's and 
work in the diner.
Nik:Bobbie, Katherine would never live above Kelly's diner.
Bobbie:I'm not suggesting that she should. But you need to face some of 
the realities of life. You are no longer the heir apparent who can fall 
back on a family fortune. Your Luke Spencer's son, which means you've 
got squat. So you've got to start from scratch and Kelly's Diner seems 
the best place to start. That is if you want to build a life for 
yourself and Katherine.

Jax's Penthouse:
Jax(and Brenda are sitting at the breakfast table)So, what do you plan 
to do, today, Brender.
Brenda:I guess I'll get reacquainted with all my old friends.
Jax:Was that where you were, last night. When I got back from seeing V, 
you weren't here and I got worried.
Brenda:(smiles, thinking of being in Sonny's arms)Yes, I was seeing an 
old friend. How did it go with V.
Jax:She understands that whatever we had going on between us is over not 
that you're back.(he glances at his watch)Oh, look at the time. I've got 
to go.(he kisses her goodbye and leaves)
Brenda(calls up Sonny as soon as the door closes behind him and lets the 
phone ring for twenty times before hanging up)Goo, that means the 
penthouse is empty.(she fingers the key to Sonny's penthouse)I guess 
it's a good thing I kept this, after all.

General Hospital:
Stefan(comes up to Bobbie and hugs her)Barbara, you're incredible.
Bobbie:What's this all about.
Stefan:I've just been to see Nikolas. He tells me he's going to move 
into Kelly's Diner, alone. How'd you do it.
Bobbie:I was pretty sneaky about it if you want to know the truth. I 
didn't try to convince yim his relationship with Katherine was wrong. I 
just pointed out certain facts. I'd feel guilty about it if I didn't 
think Katherine was so bad for Nikolas.
Stefan:I don't care how you did it. Just that you did it. Now that we've 
managed to seperate Nikolas and Katherine, we have to work together to 
widen the rift between them. Any ideas?
Bobbie:Nikolas needs to be exposed to girls his own age so he'll see how 
ridiculous his relationship with Katherine is. That in the long-run 
it'll never work.
Stefan:But how will we do it. It won't work if were obvious about it.
Bobbie:Well, Lizzie Webber will be working with Nikolas as Kelly's. And 
I know Emily Quartermaine has a crus on him. So if we could convince 
Emily to get a job at Kelly's, too, we can leave the rest to Mother 
Nature.
Stefan:Both those girls come from good families. They'd be acceptable to 
me.
Bobbie:I'm sure they'll both be so glad to hear that.

Sonny's Bedroom, The Penthouse:
Brenda(enters and starts looking around and touching things. She picks 
up his tie, runs her finger down a framed picture of Sonny. Takes the 
tops off his cologne and aftershave and inhales. When she spots Sonny's 
silk bathrobe she strips off her own clothes and puts it on. As she goes 
through his cuff-link drawer, she spots two diamond bracelets laying 
amongst the cuff-links)My diamond bracelets. Sonny kept them after I 
gave them back to him.(she puts one on her wrist and the other on her 
ankle, then admires them)There right back where they belong. Now that I 
have them back, there's absolutely no reason why I shouldn't keep them. 
They belong to me, after all.(she goes over to the bed and lays down on 
Sonny's side. Then she buries her face in his pillow and hugs it to her. 
Just then the door begins to open and Brenda freezes in horror)
