XPW Fallout PPV October 6, 2002 A nice video airs with highlights since the last PPV set to a cover of Metallica's "Fight Fire With Fire". The camera pans the crowd, where numerous ECW, CZW, and RoH signs can be seen. Kris Kloss welcomes us to Fallout. But before he can introduce the first match, "School's Out" plays and out walks... STEVE CORINO!!! The ECW diehards in the crowd start booing him out of habit. He gets a mic... Corino: Look who's back in Philly, where I was last seen destroying ECW in the name of The Old School!!! In fact, I'd probably be WWE champion right now if that fat, balding worthless sack of shit you all call Paul Heyman wasn't bitter that I killed his baby. So, since my rise to greatness has been put on hold until Heyman gets kicked out on his ass by WWE and has to run back to mommy and daddy for more money to start another crappy wrestling organization, I figured I needed something to do with my time. So I decieded I should find another glorified backyard fed filled with losers who can't do anything more than hit each other in the head with assorted objects. And now that I'm here, I will lay waste to all of XPW!!! Corino drops the mic and walks off to the back, laughing like a maniac amidst a mixed response from the crowd, some who hate him for being who he is and others who love anyone who'll claim they're out to destroy XPW. No-Countout-No-DQ-Match The SoCal Superstars defeated Chris Chetti and Little Guido when Cruz pinned Guido with the El Grandes Dos Terminas in 0:17:45. Rating: * 1/2 Opening match saw the debut of Chi Chi Cruz and the formation of a new tag team with American Wild Child. Both are California indy workers which meant that they were universally booed against the two ex-ECWers (Chetti & Guido). Match ran longer than it probably should have. Cruz wins after busting Guido open outside the ring then hitting his finisher. Shane Douglas and Lizzy Borden confront Corino in the back and want to know if he's the mystery man. Corino insists he's far to intelligent to be making the lame video clips that have been taunting Douglas and he prefers to make his entrances as a surprise anyway, like he did tonight. Douglas and Lizzy storm off to question someone else. No-Countout-No-DQ-Match Juventud Guerrera pinned Julio Dinero after a Frankensteiner in 0:09:20. Rating: *** "The Juice is loose in Philly!" Pretty wild back and forth match, but a clean win for Juvi. No-Countout-No-DQ-Match Psicosis pinned Super Crazy after a lariat in 0:07:04. Rating: *** Another good match, with a sweet finish as Psicosis nearly takes Crazy's head off after a sweet multiple rebounds-off-the-ropes-then-leaping-off-a-chair lariat. No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match The Sandman pinned Pogo the Clown with the White Russian Legsweep in 0:04:17. Rating: -1/4* Wicked little hardcore brawl as Pogo takes the early advantage using a fire extinguisher and a frying pan. But after the match brawls to the back, Pogo goes head first into a wall (getting busted open in the process) and then takes the White Russian Legsweep into part of a table. The old Public Enemy theme brings Johnny Grunge out in his old TPE outfit but with a black armband. He carries the traditionally TPE table under his arm and sets it up and ringside then gets a mic... Grunge: As most of you know, my long time tag team partner, known to most of you as Rocco Rock, recently passed away. He was a great guy, a great teammate, and a great friend. I'm going to miss him. The rest of my wrestling career, which has brought me here now to XPW, is going to be in his memory. In fact, my spinebuster has been renamed in his honor. The both of us always appreciated the warm welcome we got from the fans, especially here in Philly and I'd like to ask you all for a moment of silence in Rocco's honor... "Intergalatic" interrupts the silence after about 10 seconds and out walks Nova, mic in hand... Nova: Johnny, you've got my sympathies for the passing of your tag partner. But the fact of the matter is, you need to finish that touching little speech there by announcing your retirement. Yeah, you and Rocco fired the crowds up...about ten years ago! You guys never had any talent, you just were two tubby dudes who carried around a table and ended up going through your own table more often than your opponents. You're a washed up has-been. Me on the other hand, I'm THE INNOVATOR! I invented the table spot! And then I re-invented it! Grunge is fuming and the crowd starts chanting "fuck you" at Nova. Grunge motions Nova to get into the ring and we've got a match! No-Countout-No-DQ-Match Johnny Grunge pinned Nova with the Rocco Tribute Slam in 0:04:43. Rating: * 3/4 Grunge was an angry house-o-fire. He just unloaded on Nova. Grunge brought in the TPE table. But after he set it up, Nova jumped on him with a rana...and Grunge countered with a powerbomb through the table! Crowd goes nuts as Grunge hits his renamed finisher for the win. Grunge leaves through the crowd after the match, waving his arms and hi-fiving fans. No-Countout-No-DQ-Match Chris Hamrick pinned Malcolm XL after a flying elbowdrop in 0:08:29. Rating: ** 1/4 Malcolm cuts a promo before the match that sounds akin to New Jack, cursing alot and using alot of racist comments I wont reprint here. Hamrick gets the surprise pin, but Mustafa Saed makes a surprise run-in after the match. Malcolm and Mustafa beat Hamrick to a bloody pulp then give the Black Panthers salute. No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match Angel pinned Supreme with the Circumcizer in 0:08:28. Rating: * 1/2 (Angel won the XPW King of the Deathmatch Title.) Not as good as some of their previous matches. Very little hardcore, till the end when a table gets set up at ringside. Supreme lights it on fire, but Altar Boy Luke runs in and stabs Supreme several times with some kind of crucifix. Angel hits the Circumcizer for the win and the title, then throws Supreme through the flaming table for good measure. No-Countout-No-DQ-Cage Match Danny Doring pinned Kaos with the Flying Legdrop in 0:10:29. Rating: * 3/4 (Danny Doring won the XPW Television Title.) Not exactly the greatest cage match ever by any means, but there were several near-falls. GQ Money and Veronica Caine came down and tried to break into the cage but some music hits... "Big Balls" by AC/DC signals the XPW debut of Ballz Mahoney who charges down to the ring with trusty steel chair in hand. He destroys GQ with chairshots. Veronica jumps on his back so he swings the chair back over his head and wacks her too, causing her to fall off his back and on to the floor. Meanwhile, Doring finishes off Kaos with his Flying Legdrop to win the title. Damien and Halloween come out to defend their titles against their still unannounced opponents. Finally, "This is Extreme" plays and out comes two wrestlers completely unknown to the Philly crowd - Khris Germany and Kit Carson, collectively known as Team Extreme. Kris Kloss explains who they are, but the crowd isn't exactly thrilled... No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match Mexico's Most Wanted defeated Team Extreme when Halloween made Carson submit to the Pumpkin Patch in 0:07:36. Rating: ** (Mexico's Most Wanted retained the XPW Tag Team Titles.) Team Extreme gave MMW one hell of a run for their money, dominating the match at points. But the end was a big clusterfrick as Malcolm and Mustafa run in with road signs. This prompts more run-ins, as the SoCal Superstars and Chetti & Nova join the fray then The Enterprise then Doring & Ballz (who does quite a bit of damage with his chair) and Angel & Luke. Its a total mess with entire ring area a big brawl. Kit Carson gets KOed with a stop sign by Halloween who then puts him in the Pumpkin Patch and gets a submission win (as Carson was still out) just before the ref is himself knocked out. The chaos continues until... "Perfect Strangers" hits as Shane Douglas charges the ring, with Lizzy bouncing along close behind. Douglas clears the ring in a fit of rage and demands to know who the mystery man is. "Back in Black" hits and out walks... ...Chris Candido!!! And Tammy Lynn Syntch, who looks in better condition that several of her previous appearances in the wrestling world. Crowd starts a small "crack whore" at Tammy. Candido: Its me Shane, I'm the one who's been taunting you! And the reason is... "The Zoo" suddenly plays, surprising everyone including Douglas and Candido. Out comes Bam Bam Bigelow with his own mic... BBB: Douglas!!! What the hell are you smoking? I always thought Candido was the crackhead in the Triple Threat, but after I signed with XPW it was supposedly your idea for me to be some stupid character called "The Doomhammer"! To hell with that - I've jobbed to Lawrence Taylor and Keenan Ivory Wayans, I'm NOT going to be some stupid jackass character you thought of probably for the sole purpose of mocking me. Bigelow throws the mic down and charges past Candido toward the ring. Candido follows and a three-way brawl ensues. Lizzy and Tammy get into a cat fight for good measure and Kris Kloss informs us that we're desperately out of time...
