51 REASONS TO HATE HOLLYWOOD HULK HOGAN 1. Interfered in Sting vs Flair at June 1994 Clash of Champions. 2. Defeated Ric Flair for the WCW World Title at "Bash at the Beach '94" for no other reason than "It's in my contract, brother." 3. Refused to job the title back to Ric Flair at a Clash of Champions in September of 1994. 4. Retired Ric Flair in one of the all-time worst cage matches at Halloween Havoc '94. 5. Worked a main event program with Brutus Beefcake. 6. Defended the World Title against The Booty Man (aka Brutus Beefcake) at Starrcade '94. Thus ruining a PPV that Flair had spent the better part 10 years making it the "Grandaddy of 'em all". Why didn't he wrestle Sting, Steamboat, Austin or Vader? 7. Squashed Vader - The only legitimate big man in WCW - not once, not twice, not three times, not four times, but at least five or six times in 1995. Vader went on to do, well, Vader did nothing of any importance after that fiasco. 8. Defeated Vader by dragging Flair - who was in drag - around the ring and touching all four corners. 9. Instead of feuding with Sting or Flair or any other legitimate superstar, Hogan, with the help resident jackasss Kevin Sullivan, created the Dungeon of Doom. All this did was create more cartoon characters for Hogan to squash. The Giant was the only good thing to come out of this abortion. 10. Main evented the very first Nitro against Big Bubba Rogers. Why not Sting? Why not Flair? Why not Anderson? Why not Luger? Why not Vader? Why not the Giant? Why not someone who could've carried his sorry asss to decent match? 11. Wargames 1995 - Hogan, Sting, Savage and Luger vs Zodiac, Meng, Kamala and Shark. Poor Sting. Poor Luger. Poor Meng. They deserved better than that abortion. 12. Monster Truck vs Monster Truck. 'Nuff said. 13. Threw the Giant off the top of Cobo Hall. 'Nuff said. 14. Wanted to squash Brian Pillman, because Brian Pillman had started to get over. Yeah, Hogan! Just kill the #1 heel in the company! Use the leg drop while you're at it! 15. Made Flair, Anderson, Pillman and Benoit look like boobs during the Christmas '95 Nitro from Atlanta. And they wonder why only 4,000 people showed up to witness this abortion. 16. Defeated The Giant at SuperBrawl 1996. Way to help an up-and-coming star getover, Hogan! Luckily, Flair salvaged The Giant's career by jobbing the World Title to him two months later. Thank you, Flair. Screw you, Hogan! 17. He and Savage defeated 8 other men in the triple cage. That was believable! 18. Interjected himself into the hottest angle of all time: the nWo. It was all down hill from there. 19. Defeated The Giant for the WCW Title at Hog Wild '96. Screw you again, Hogan! 20. Wore that stupid hair piece at Havoc '96. 21. Ruined the Christmas '96 movie season by releasing "Santa with Muscles". 21. Teamed with Dennis Rodman numerous times during 1997. 22. Defeated he Giant AGAIN at Souled Out 97. Screw you AGAIN, Hogan! 23. Agreed to job the title to Lex Luger, only to regain the title five days later. Luger hasn't been worth a crap since then. 24. Lobbied for - and received - a clean pinfall over Sting at Starrcade '97. 25. Forced Hart into the midcard feuds, after Hart got a good buyrate without him. 26. Instead of facing DDP one-on-one, Hogan added Jay Leno, Eric Bischoff, Dennis Rodman, Kevin Eubanks and Karl Malone to their feud. 27. Instead of letting WCW get the upper hand on the nWo, Hogan decided to split the nWo into two seperate groups so he could avoid the job. 28. Agreed to job to Goldberg in exchange for the top spot in WCW. 29. Brought in the Ultimate Warrior for no other reason than to "collect on the debt". 30. "Retired" without putting over any talent on his way out. 31. Interfered in Flair and Flair vs Windham and Hennig, just so the spotlight wouldn't shine too brightly on anyone else. 32. Defeated a face Flair at SuperBrawl '99. The fans paid to see their hero go over, but they got the usual Hogan bullshitt instead. 33. Agreed to job to Flair in exchange for the top face spot in WCW. Great! Once again, the fans paid to see their hero go over, but what they received was their hero turning evil. Just brilliant, Hogan! 34. Instead of jobbing the title to DDP, Hogan left the 4-way match Spring Stampede with an "injury". Nice way to avoid the job, Hogan! Thanks to Flair, though, DDP went over. Thank you, Flair! Screw you, Hogan! 35. Stayed off the job with full pay and benefits for four months, without ever having to put over any talent on his way out. 36. Returned to WCW, only to pick up where he left off. World Title, top star, defacto booker, etc... 37. Went back to wearing the red and yellow without any explanation. 38. Retired Kevin Nash at Road Wild '99, even though Nash was clearly more over than Hogan. 39. Teamed as a face with Ric Flair. Poor Ric Flair. 40. Agreed to job to Sting, only after Sting had agreed to turn heel. Again, the fans were wanting to see their hero go over, but they received the typical Hogan bullshit. 41. Made Ric Flair promise not to do any partying until after their match with Sting and Luger. As a Flair fan, this promo was easily the most sickening thing I've ever seen. 42. No sold the ambulance in Atlanta. 43. Returned to WCW as the top star in February 2000. 44. Worked with Luger instead of some young, deserving talent. 45. Refused to job to Flair on Valentine's Day. 46. Apple Pie Indiana Jones Strap match. 'Nuff said. 47. Instead of putting over some young, deserving talent, Hogan worked the "Sid is jealous of Hogan" storyline. Great! Didn't we see this same storyline in 1992?!? 48. After agreeing to drop the red and yellow, Hogan rehashed the "Hollywood" character. 49. Cried like a baby because Russo wanted him to do something other than squash Jarrett. 50. Appeared on WCW LIVE at the end of the Bischoff era running his mouth about how he taught Vince MacMahon everything he knows about the wrestling business, b-i-t-c-h-ing about all the problems in WCW as if he wasn't the biggest one, bragging about how he is god's gift to wrestling, etc, etc, etc. 51. Single handidly destroying Billy Kidman's chances of a top spot in the company and killing Kidman's career by refusing to job, sell, or make Kidman look good in any way, shape, or form. Kidman was over before the "feud"/squash with Hogan. He isn't anymore because of it.
