Mary Ann Wiggins' origins are some what confusing
despite some descrepancies the family below in the 1851 census would seem to be the same as those lodging with the Chattertons in 1861.
Why was gdau surname Remmer ? was she born after Robert's death On the wedding cert Mary Ann Wiggins gives her father as Robert which fits with Frances McCurdy married Robert Wiggins 06 nov 1836 Manchester and with the son Robert being born 1837-8. there is a Robert Wiggins died 1841 Leeds and also 1849 in Preston.
