As you enter the inn, you will be amazed at the winding staircase. Your eyes will then scan the color and textures of the walls...the temwood railings and ceiling decor...the fantastic array of the tiles beneath your feet. Around the room there are vases of tropical plants taken from Schendi's own jungle. Furs and pillows surround various low tables making the room welcome and warm for guests and citizens alike to converse, eat and drink to their heart's content. |

The rooms are large and airy. All of them have windows that open to let in the warm Thassan breezes. Those on the first floor have doors that lead out to porticos and some even have views of the sandy beaches across the street in front of the inn. There is again that effect of texture and color on the walls and on the ceilings. Each room also contains its own large bathing tub with pipes that pump in both hot and cold water from underground cisterns. The rooms are cleaned daily by the inn slaves and in each room fresh baskets placed containing an assortment of fruit, Schendi's finest chocolates and teas. |

Just beyond the main gathering room of the inn lays a stairwell that curves down to the majestic tropical gardens that include a variety of plant life and the sounds of jungle birds...all safely walled by thick stones. The only other entrance is a wooden gate that opens onto a small path that leads directly to the beach. |
