Summer time
is so humid and dry,
Sweaty and hot; sometimes you just want to cry.
Go for a swim in a lovely big pool,
When you get out you feel nice and cool
Autumn time we see the leaves fall,
From all sorts of trees it doesn’t matter how tall.
Rake up the leaves; tidy and neat,
Make sure you don’t end up with them all over your feet.
Winter time is a bit chilly and cold,
Chop up the wood; do as you’re told.
Bring it inside and stack it up neat,
Then sit around the fire and enjoy the lovely heat.
Spring time is a lovely part of the year,
It’s when people and animals all love to come near.
It makes you feel good and want to be outdoors,
That’s when you like to do household chores.
