You see my
limitless potential
and my innumerable failures
and yet you also see through them
and forgive me without reserve
For every mistake I make
you give me another chance
and though I doubt myself
you always have faith in me
It seems so strange that you do
because, in my life
I have lost faith so many times
and you hold no grudge
You do not turn me away
and when I turn from you
I'm always accepted back
joyfully received by you
You have named all the stars
you have number the grains of sand
You know my heart
and yet you forget my failures
Never will I be able to repay you
and yet you still give
everyday you give
to me, an unworthy fool
And although I run away
I am not alone
and though I deny you
you never deny me
I am not worth the trouble
not worthy of your forgiveness
and yet here I am
living by your grace
I am blown away by your spirit
And although I have before
I refuse to let you see me fail again
I refuse to fall anymore
Where ever you call me to
I will be there
whatever your will
I will do
Only in you will I be forgiven
only in you will I be whole
and i will follow with all my heart
because I find peace only in you
