These poems are from my son, Devon. He’s five years old and in kindergarten, and even though he’s not reading and writing proficiently yet, I believe he has a wonderful mind. I was telling him a week ago that one of “Mommy’s poems” had just been published on theharrow.com, and he wanted to try his hand. So far, his artistic word combinations only come out in the songs he’s always making up and then forgetting. For this reason, I suggested that he tell me the words that he wants to use, and Mommy would write them down and provide punctuation where he paused. Some of his words are not really words, but I did check to make sure I was pronouncing his made-up words “correctly.” I hope you like and can use them!
