A Dagorhian/Belegarth Elf
translates into Elven Werewolf bird,
a creature with both great strength and speed.
As the legend goes there was a Ranger Who was quite fond of Magic
Late one eve he came to a tavern to get rest for himself and his steed
He found a wizard there much to his liking
He soon had a task before him, to which he toasted with meade
Upon completion of his quest, new tricks of magic was his reward
Before parting ways, the ranger asked if there was anything he would need
To which the the wizard simply said, "A pet that will last over time."
A bird he thought would be quite easy to feed
So he sought to find some form of bird with a life as lone has his own
None there were which he did come to see
So he then chose a bird of brilliant colour and asked,
"Will you be the one to stay with me?"
The bird looked away south trying to point to the forst of Mirkwod
Quickly the ranger understoon and left to stay with the Elves
He soon asked to have the bird's life prolonged to be as long as his own.
The Elves did this but warned him that there could be side effects.
Before long word reached the elven ear of mirkwood
the elves were leaving and not returning
The Ranger of course became old and died,
But before leavinghe turned his bird into the one thing he saw fit,
An Elf
He named her Dulin, elvish for bird, and trained her in all the ways he new
Dulin soon left her home to find a new group of friends and family.
