If you're looking for a wholesome fun and recreational activity for your child or you yourself are younger than 18 and are interested, Sheridan Game Zone offers a wide range of leagues, of which include Junior Bowling Leagues.

With bowling, your child can participate in a team oriented environment while still allowing for individual competition. Bowling is safe and easy to learn, but takes years to master and starting young will help. In the Game Zone Junior Leagues, we offer instructional coaching to help teach your child the basics of bowling, and help them correct their common mistakes. Children may learn how to keep score and learn about the various aspects of the sport of bowling.

Junior Leagues during the regular bowling season are held on Friday afternoons at 4:00pm and on Saturday mornings at 10:00am. Children get 15 minutes of practice time and then bowl. Age groups are 3-6, 7-9, 10-12, and 13+. Children may sign up individually, or come with a team of up to four bowlers. Every year, there are parties throughout the season, i.e. Halloween and Holiday parties, and an End-Of-The-Year Banquet. At the banquet, children will receive awards and the End-Of-The-Year Gift which in recent years has ranged from a fleece to a brand new bowling ball.
