Welcome to Iowa City Boys Baseball

                      2001 Iowa City Boys Baseball
                           Information Sheet

This is a totally voluntary program.  The boys taking part will be drafted
to teams.  All games are played at the Bobby Oldis Fields at the west end
of lower City Park. 
     *The season will begin May 14, 2001 and finish July 6, 2001. 
     *The game times will be 5:00 and 6:30 p.m.
     *Rained out games will not be rescheduled.  
     *The Annual Fun Day will be Wednesday, July 4th, 2001.

Any boy interesten in playing baseball this summer who reaches his 8th
birthday on or before August 1, 2001 and will not reach his 13th birthday
by August 1, 2001 is eligible to participate.  

Players will be divided into three groups: 
     * T-Ball, 8 years old
     * Junior Division, 9-10 years old
     * Senior Division, 11-12 years old
