A. HEARTS - You can choose from a variety of hearts, even candied
ones. You can make your own with thick paper or from red wax! Whatever the heart, prior to use, it should be cleansed and empowered. If the heart is candy or paper skip the cleansing but definitely empower the it by placing
your hands (palms down) over the heart envisioning light from your finger
tips coursing into the heart. When you feel a light warmth or heat coming
up from the candy or paper heart the empowerment is complete.
Next, you're ready to cast for your heart's desire.
1.) Wax or toy plastic Heart:
If you choose to use a wax or toy heart, you will create a permanent
magickally empowered object which can be re-used time and time again. You'll need a small box to keep the heart in. Why? Because love & happiness spells deal with emotions and relationships. Hearts represent emotions and relationships. I suggest that one may wish to keep this object secure.
When you're ready to use it, bring out the heart, and obtain the following items:
one pink ribbon
one pink candle
any writing tool (pencil or pen, marker)
Write your desire on the ribbon. Wrap the ribbon around the heart. Return
the heart and ribbon to the box. Close the box. Light the candle and say:
SAMPLE SPELL:
Love and happiness are my heart's desire;
Made alive and kindled by fire..."
Allow the candle to burn down. This spell is best done on a Friday during
a Full Moon. Leave the ribbon wrapped around the heart for a full lunar cycle (until the next Full Moon). Then open the box, remove the ribbon, burn it
and scatter its ashes outside your home. Cleanse the heart by wiping it with lemon juice or soaking in spring water.
B.} SMILEY FACES:
A round yellow face, big smile and black eyes. Sound familiar? The Smiley
Face seems to have become a universal symbol of friendship and happiness. So
tap its power. This item is extremely versatile in fun magick. Smiley Face
stickers abound everywhere and can be fixed onto almost any surface. Its a
perfect match for your needs. There are no required spells, chants or incatations to tap the magickal energy of this symbol.
IDEAS FOR USE:
Place a smiley face sticker on your refrigerator, desk, notebook. Smile back
at it. Place a smiley face sticker on the back of your bathroom door. Smile
at it. If you prefer to cast a simple spell in conjunction with the smiley face, you can say:
"Smiling face bring happiness here;
Cloudy skies turn sunny & clear my way.
This magick can be done at any time of the month or day of the week.
