Prof. P.S.Venkiteswaran

My father, Prof. P.S. Venktewaran was a Professor of English literature. He was the Professor at the St.Thomas College, Trichur in the 50's and later at the Chirst College, IringalaKuda, Trichur in the 60's and 70's. He was a pioneer in the "Tutorial Culture" of Kerala with the Mascot Tutorials which attracted students from all over Kerala to attend his classes. He along with Prof. B.C. Varghese later started the "Combined Tutorials" which became the gold standard in training students. In his later years he worked at Chinmaya College, Trichur. He died at the age of 78 (1986).
